The osu!mania 4K World Cup is done for the year, but 7 new songs debuted in the tournament will stick around forever!
Those new songs are all osu! originals, a.k.a. songs created specifically for osu!. With input from the tournament staff and mappers behind MWC 4K 2023, each track is filled to the brim with high note density and high intensity — two things that make osu!mania truly feel like osu!mania.
Check everything out:
As you've (hopefully) seen already, Aquellex debuted as a Featured Artist during the MWC 4K Grand Finals mappool showcase through this technical beatmap created by Halogen-!
4 in a row. That's how many osu! originals LV.4 has designed for osu!'s World Cups, the latest of which is this stamina pick by hna and -mint-!
Back on his home turf, BilliumMoto contributed to the Grand Finals mappool with this Hybrid pick mapped by -mint-!
Just like Aquellex earlier, Kommisar debuted as a Featured Artist through this year's MWC 4K too! Experience even more chiptune through this map by lemonguy from the Long Note slot of the Finals mappool!
Frums is here to make piano smashers scream. Play the Semifinals tiebreaker by guden and -mint-!
Toromaru proved that electro jazz fits rhythm games yet again through the song behind this map by elexire and Toaph Daddy! Unlike everything above, this Long Note map is actually playable by the average person, so give it a try.
This collaboration between over 10 mappers served as the tiebreaker climax to this year's MWC 4K Grand Finals, and subsequently, it was also a climax to 10 years of osu!mania world cups!
If you're looking for an undeniable challenge, try the hardest 4K Ranked map to date hosted by Camellia's biggest fan -mint-!
If you wanna get straight into mapping, head to any of these Featured Artist listings and download the templates for each pretty pink osu! original:
Along with the mappers behind these maps, mangomizer played an essential role in bringing these tracks to life! Send 20 years worth of osu!supporter his direction.
One more World Cup remains for the year. Look forward to it, and of course, the osu! originals that come with it!
