Relying almost solely on a Game Boy music sequencer, French Canadian composer Kommisar has been exploring the possibilties behind chiptune music for over 10 years. Listeners often associate chiptune with pure nostalgia, but anyone who experiences Kommisar's music can confirm that there's more to it than that.
Kommisar has been around on osu! for a long time, both as an osu! player and a musician. Their first song to make an impact on osu! was this classic April Fools' joke from 2011, followed by the infamous stream map Chipstream half a decade later. Kommisar made an unexpected return to osu! through an osu! original in this year's MWC 4K!
