Well, this is it. It's officially my first year on OT, and goddamn what a ride this shit is. This time, we'll be taking a look back on my past and the major events that I experienced and work our way up to today. It's been a year, so I don't quite remember some of the events here, and they may not be as accurate as I think. And also this is mostly gonna be about my thread history since I easily have it recorded on my watchlists unlike the other posts or conversations I had here.
Timeline:
My first post in OT - Febuary 14, 2022
This is the post that started it all. After around a year of playing osu, I remember thinking that I should start interacting with the community after looking at my post count of 0 compared to other people who have post counts in the 100s who registered their accounts earlier than me.
So then I started with the forums. I had a hard time navigating it at first, since it's the first time I've ever posted something on an internet forum. I eventually found my way into the Other section of the forum. It looked like it was easy to talk in, so I started posting there first.
Then I found OT. I took a small look and it immediately looked different compared to other forums. It's all mostly the same people, they're more familiar with each other, and so I found it hard to post there, but I pushed myself and made this post. Time flies.
My first thread in OT - March 27, 2022
At this time, I decided that I would try and insert myself in OT. At first, I started posting in the FG subforum, but I eventually thought that it wasn't gonna cut it and that I should actually start posting more in the main forum. And so I made my first thread in OT.
It was pretty simple. A thread about going to the buffet and shitting my brains out. But I wanna tell you guys something... My first thread was a fucking lie. I did NOT eat seafood, I actually ate beef. My dumbass thought that eating a huge fuck ton wasn't enough of an impact, so I lied about it being seafood instead since I thought that was way more impressive and more expensive than beef. Nonetheless, I still shat my brains out.
Also a little note, those updates and edits I used to do? That was because I thought that the forums were like reddit and so I acted accordingly lmao.
My drive to be famous - ? ?, 2022
At some point in this time period, I read the stories of OT, the lore, the people, and such. I found it to be really interesting, and soon, my desire to be recognized in this space kept growing.
During this time, I wanted to be well-known here, to be popular, even after I'm gone. I wanted to be like the people I looked up to and respected here. To be as popular and easily recognizable as abraker (even though I was intimidated by him at the time), and to make as good of threads as ShinRun.
I wanted to make a huge impact on OT. I wanted to be the best. And tbh, I still have those feelings even today. It's a big reason on why I really put in effort on my threads today. Sometimes you just can't let go of some things, huh?
Space Appreciation - June 7, 2022
Nothing really notable besides being the first good thread that I made. Just wanted to point it out because I really fucking love this thread as I really fucking love space. That's all.
But everything changed when the Polyspora attacked - June 7, 2022
This is the start when poly started being active in OT. Despite being new here, he was so friendly and engaged so much with the other guys here, promptly becoming well-known in pretty much under a few months.
I took a look at what poly was doing, and I was like "Damn. I'm not pushing myself enough. I need to engage with more with the folks here." Due to my crippling social anxiety, I was limiting myself from talking with people here. But looking at poly really inspired me to take action and start communicating. And it wasn't just here in OT. I made an effort and tried to make more friends irl.
And so I wanna thank you, poly. Without you being here, I never would've overcame my fear of interaction and made some good friends, online or irl otherwise.
Starting to get more active and making more threads - June 15, 2022
I think this is the thread where I tried some new things and ideas and started to improve on them. This is probably also the point where I started talking to people here more. After this, I made a series of threads in a pretty short amount of time. Y'know, for the sake of being more active and thus being more well-known.
Otherwise, there's nothing else interesting to note here as I kept on posting in OT and having fun in it.
OT!Therapy - June 28, 2022
Oh god, the paragraphs worth of posts I had to make for this. I really wanted to take this seriously. Since I made this out as a therapy thread, I actually wanted to help some people with their problems, whether it's silly or serious. This also served as my origin story for the start of British MegaCorp©™ as I joined in OT!Lore later on.
After months of this thread being dormant, one of you fuckers actually necro'd this thread, obligating myself to continue this pain. But I eventually had enough. I stopped trying and replaced myself with John so I wouldn't have to put in the effort anymore.
Moral Dilemmas - August 7, 2022
I'd have to say that this is probably the time when I started consistently making quality threads? Granted, I was still churning out low-effort threads in the meantime too.
Moral Dilemmas was a series of mine, so I started making more of it, but eventually turned into mini-quality threads as an insert between my bigger and better threads.
Looking back at this thread again, I saw a familiar face there, Clicky-. Man I fucking missed Clicky. He was such a chill guy and he was fun to talk to. I wonder how he's doing now.
The series finally ended after I handed it to keremaru who took a spin on it (Thread 1, Thread 2), and in the end died in the hands of NotRaffi, who decided to make a joke thread about it.
The Library of OT - September 29, 2022
Now THIS, is quality. The best thread I've made yet at that time. And it also took some a long-ass amount of time. I think the reason why this took me so long is because I couldn't think of a good story for The Scientist and The Orangutan, a book there about what was supposed to be Manishh's origin story together with abraker who would bring down the evil organization he worked for.
I also really appreciated Kataru for continuing to make stories on there long after the thread was supposed to die. He actually made some pretty good stories too ngl.
I joined ot!neus - September 30, 2022
I was pretty curious about what is was at the time, so I activated my discord account again and it was... interesting. It's got a whole new atmosphere different from OT. And so I made a hiatus shortly after joining and came back after a few months. I got to know a ton of people there though.
But damn, I never knew that discord was this convenient for talking to people. I made the account in the past because my brother kept pushing me to make one, but I never actually used it till now. It's a pretty good social platform if you overlook the bad side of it.
Birthday on OT - November 10, 2022
I was waiting so long for this day. I initially thought of posting an image of an emoji holding a gun saying "NOW POST ANIME DANCING GIFS" along those lines, but I thought that was out of my character and eventually decided on something simple.
British MegaCorp©™ and OT!Lore - December 2, 2022
This is the thread where I established my presence in OT!Lore. I decided to make this thread during the heat of the Padoru Wars so I can just join in whenever something happens. I wasn't really taking action since I was busy on some threads, but I eventually joined with the PadOT! Coalition and eventually the OT! Socialist Party.
Oh yeah, why British MegaCorp©™ exactly? I don't actually know. But it was pretty funny at the time.
Stomiks the fanfic writer (Hell) - December 10, 2022
Hell. Fucking hell. That's all there is to it. I mean, look at the ungodly amount of paragraphs for the many stories I had to write. And it's all mostly shipping and sex with other OT Users. (Looking at your request poly)
I mean, I expected that it'd happen but Jesus that was so much than I imagined. My sanity was already on the brink of shattering, but I was able to hold on until the deadline ended.

Wow. I never thought I would put so much effort into a thread that I thought on a whim. I thought I'd try hosting an event after thinking about how bad MaxIsABigKaiju failed to host one from the thread he bought from me on my FREE OT! thread ideas shop. I forcefully got it back from him and made my own.
OT's Got Talent - 1st Round - January 13, 2023
A continuation of OT's Got Talent. Basically decided to make this on a whim too.
This thread completely broke me. This was my first time trying to edit and it was rough. Editing was such a time sink. Like, how many hours did I spend on this thread alone? 10 hours? 18 hours? It was probably close to a full 24 hours. OT's Got Talent is definitely the most effort I've ever put into a thread and I don't think I will beat that in a long time.
But honestly, I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I made some mistakes, sure, but I really appreciate that you guys enjoyed the thread. I really like the compliments you guys gave me for it too. (ꈍᴗꈍ)
OT's Got Talent - 2nd Round - Febuary 12, 2023
The 2nd Round OT's Got Talent. I think I actually did really great on this one.
This round was pretty off schedule since I already used up some time for making the 1st Round, and also waiting for the contestant's submissions go come through. I was mostly just waiting and begging dPeace to submit something for the 2nd Round during that time lmao.
Editing this time was pretty easy, since I got the hang of it when I made the 1st Round. But it still takes a long time. Good thing with fewer contestants, I was able to take less time to make this.
My 1st OT anniversary - A look back - Febuary 14, 2023
And we've come full circle. My 1st year of OT. It was fun, I had a ton of funny and enjoyable interactions, I met a ton of people, I made threads, I posted on threads, I can't express how I appreciate being in this space and spending my days here. OT has just been a daily routine for me.
I hope in the comings years we're able to have fun and enjoy ourselves in OT. I have great expectations from you guys. ٩(^ᗜ^ )و
And so as a closing statement, thank you. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. You have made my year on OT so memorable. I'll be sure to look back on this forum with a smile for when I finally leave.
