Inspired by Karmine's OT!Song Festival and the thread from my FREE OT! thread ideas shop, it is an event where OT dwellers all around the world will show their amazing talents and abilities for the whole world to see! How it works
1st Round
Within a time period, contestants will submit a video of themselves performing their talents on this thread for the 4 judges to review. If your talent does not need you to record yourself, like singing, then you may submit an audio recording instead.
The judges will DM the host (Stomiks) on whether a contestant should move on or not, by either stating yes or no.
If the 3 of the judges say yes, the contestants are able to move on to the 2nd round.
However, each of the 4 judges has 1 golden buzzer. They can pick a contestant that would automatically move on to the next round without the other judges' input. The judges can only press this once in this 1st round.
2nd Round
The 2nd round will be the same as the 1st round. But instead of 3 yesses, the judges can only pick 2 contestants that would be able to move on to the Grand Finals. At this point, the golden buzzer is not allowed to be used anymore.
Grand finals
The Grand Finals. It will decide between the 2 contestants who is going to win OT's Got Talent. This is the last time that you will feature your talents, so make it count.
Instead of the judges voting on who's gonna win, the audience (OT users) would vote instead. Audiences would be able to vote through a poll that will last for a few days. The contestant who has the highest votes will become the winner of OT's Got Talent and may possibly receive prizes that sponsors may provide.
If the winner chooses to, they may ask to distribute their prizes to the other contestants.
Rules
Contestants
You must register by posting /in Contestants.- You can perform any talent of your choice.
- You need to submit a video/audio showcasing your talent. It can be posted through youtube or any other video/audio uploading site.
- For each round, you must submit a different video/audio showcasing your talents, preferably that gets more entertaining or impressive as the rounds go on.
- If you are eliminated, you are no longer able to participate.
You must register by posting /in Judges.- Only 4 judges are able to judge. The 4 people who registered first will become the judges.
- You must DM me a yes or no on a contestant to decide if they will be able to move on or not.
- Your thoughts and feedback on each contestants's submission is advised. It is so that the host can depict this event as a true Got Talent show.
- You can automatically have a contestant move on to the 2nd round if you tell me you pressed the golden buzzer through my DMs. It is only applicable on the 1st round.
- During the 2nd round, you are only able to choose 2 contestants. DM me of your choice and the contestants who get picked by the judges the most will move on to the Grand Finals.
- During the Grand Finals, you are not able to vote nor choose who will win OT's Got Talent show.
