osu! TV Size Tournament 2020
The osu! TV Size Tournament 2020 (otst! 2020) was an international four-on-four double-elimination osu! tournament hosted by Seaweed. It featured a variety of TV-sized (usually 90 seconds in length) maps in its mappools. This was the fourth instalment of the osu! TV Size Tournament.

- Rate is determined by
1 - (max avg. score - team avg. score) / (99.5th percentile of all scores) ^ 1.3 - Only the top 32 teams can proceed to the knockout stage
Ruleset
General rules
- There will be 7 mappools in total: Qualifiers, Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals, and Grand Finals.
- Double elimination bracket is started directly after qualifiers.
- Maps will be no longer than 2 minutes drain time.
- The winner of
!rollwill ban second and pick first. - Teams get one ban in Round of 32 and Round of 16. The rest of the stages, teams will get two bans.
- Tiebreakers will be a BO3 instead of a single match.
- Teams will
!rollagain; higher roll picks first during a tiebreaker.
Winning conditions
- Round of 32 will be BO7, the first team to reach 4 points will win the match.
- Round of 16 will be BO9, the first team to reach 5 points will win the match.
- Quarterfinals and Semifinals will be BO11, the first team to reach 6 points will win the match.
- Finals and Grand Finals will be BO13, the first team to reach 7 points will win the match.
- There will be a bracket reset match if necessary for Grand Finals.
Registration
- If a team member needs to be replaced after signing up, please contact the manager before registration ends. No rosters can be modified after registration ends.
- Each member of the team must be in the Discord server to verify their participation.
- If a player changes their name, they (or a team captain) needs to inform the manager as soon as possible to avoid misunderstandings in a match.
- If a player exhibits suspicious behavior, including but not limited to suspected multi-accounting or cheating, their participation in the tournament might be prohibited, subject to tournament host discretion.
- Accounts that were recently unbanned or suspended within 12 months prior to signups will not be allowed to participate in otst!.
Scheduling
- All times in the scheduled are in UTC.
- Scheduling will be based on team timezones to avoid as many no-shows as possible.
- If any team wants to reschedule a match, please have the requesting and the opposing team agree on the new time and have either team captain submit proof of agreement in
#rescheduletext channel on otst!'s Discord server by Thursday 23:59 UTC. - All matches must be 4v4s
- If a team are certain that its team cannot make it to a match even after a reschedule, please tell the manager or their referee and we will give them a loss for that match
- Failure to do so will result in a penalty and teams may be exempt from future iterations or tournaments hosted by Seaweed.
Match proceedings
- Referees have the final decision in all matches so please respect their choices, but do not forget that they are human too and any disrespect will result in penalties.
- At the time of the match, referees will invite the captain into the lobby. If for any reason the team captain cannot make it to a match, please have a team member inform a referee before the match starts.
- If a team is not present for the match 10 minutes after the scheduled time, that team will forfeit the match. If neither team makes it,
!rollby the referee will determine who wins or loses. - At the start of the match, both captains will
!roll. The higher roll gets second ban and first pick. Warmups may either be chosen by roll or another method decided in the lobby.- Warmups are strictly limited to 2 minutes maximum drain time.
- 1 ban per team up to RO16, 2 bans from Quarter finals onwards.
- Teams may substitute players in and out of the lobby without limit.
- Mods allowed in ForceMod bracket: Hidden, HardRock, Flashlight, and Easy
- At least 2 players in a team must activate at least one mod.
- Players may combine mods (eg. HDHR)
- NoFail is forced starting from RO32
- Team captains must
!rollagain at the start of the tiebreaker; highest roll will decide which TB map to play first.- Players are allowed, however not required, to use mods in the tiebreaker bracket.
