They might be common cleaning chemicals, but you cannot mix these two because it releases gaseous hydrochloric acid which is lethal.

That guy just happened to be a failure on chemistry. He tried to show how good he is. The chemist on the other table asked for H2O so he decided to go with H2O too. But then the bartender thought he was asking for hydrogen peroxide so that guy died from drinking it.
