Part of me regrets not posting more "high effort" or interesting stuff in OT while I was active, since I knew I had potential to, but bottom line is it was kinda hard to find motivation to spend time creating something that's basically just a more memorable shitpost. Glad I started with ol' reliable ADIEU as my starting word. AUDIO is the other starter I use a lot and would've been good here.

For some reason I had a good feeling there was a repeating letter. It's annoying but it's always something you need to consider.

I always start with "plane" I guessed it was a repeating letter considering all the ones I had eliminated but still couldn't find it.

My times were when roleplay was at its peak. When we organized events and played together. Thats how we bonded as a niche community. Nobody has the dedication to commit to multiple of such events even if I sacrifice my soul for it. You all twiddle thumbs thinking OT is a place full of shitposts and lame threads when you neglect to organize yourselves to clean this place up and act like a community.

The only way I know how to restore OT is by replicating its roleplay times. If people pick up on it, and propogate the play it starts feeling more like an interesting place. Naturally from then people would start organizing events and dedicate more time to here because it actually becomes interesting

All things considered osu moderation by peppy's philosophy needs to be reactive. If we try to be proactive, and we make a mistake, then peppy's first question is "where is the report for that". Then the probable second one is "why touch it if there is no report". So realistically we can only be proactive with shit that is clear cut.

That all said, most of us believe it's better to be proactive. Some us go out of our way to be proactive. I made a bot to catch offending avatars, map bgs, etc. Another gmt made an AI to detect explicit avatars. Even so, after monitoring the shit for a few years it gets tiring. Each moderator can be proactive for maybe 2-4 years before getting burnout. After that point they become reactive by looking at reports as intended. Then even that gets monotonous, so they either resign, stick around waiting for an occasional highlight to handle shit, or keep themselves there for administrative / decision voting purposes.
