I think people are overthinking about it 'what does the title mean' or similar questions. The Problem with denizen imo is that first not every denizen has been chosen by the same rule. Personally I dont see the requirement of 8month of activity and 20pages as bad. I think its a worth requirement since You would be on the list for forever unlike in OT! eras which have short requirement but you will be not there in future eras if you are inactive.
As a president I will redo all the denizen with the requirement of 6months of activity and 10pages of post count. I think its a low amount but many want it to be this lower so be it. "An achievement of some sort" is a requirement which I will remove since I value the time you have spend with the community more than what quality threads you have made. And not to mention what is quality is very biased thing and will lead to problem in future.

This will be discussed by the government and definitely changed, as this has now have caused problems with our current generation, plans for what will be the appropriate change will be discussed by me, the parliament and other future members of the government such as the future vice president.
As i do have some plans for changes, such as a shorter waiting time but still giving it the fairness and more prestige of one receiving the denizenship title, i still want to discuss this with other members of the government to make the changes right and appropriate to the denizens as possible.

Sadly, i wasnt active around the time eblf became president, but from what i could gather, there really wasnt much that happened during eblf's term, due to his less activity in OT.

With more mods in OT awake in different timezones, it helps lock a lot of the trash out and giving proper moderation to some, albeit maaaybe with some mistakes from time to time, but it aint much of a bother, being so rare.
And i do like how each of them have there own sort of personality to them too, now as for stephanie, well not being favored by the newer denizens for locking random threads, i am intrigued by it and especially on how far it will go, however, its still not favorable for the masses, perhaps with my new "Unlocking" powers then, i would unlock the all the threads deemed, unworthy of a lock by the people of OT.

Really, this is more so directed to one (and maybe few, but they rarely do it) repeated offender, so the chance of it happening again is slim, especially now that mods here have recognize this as a problem
I would revert the denizenship just so the mistake can be corrected, and make the order of denizenship correct as well being Anaxii to Kobold to Sametdze, and give Blushing the proper the correct denizenship at a later date alongside with the new rules for denizenship.
Also ban the idea of future privately requesting for denizenship, as its the governments responsibility for when one gets to receive the title of denizenship and for it to also correct its mistake and not leave it.

There is also other plans i make for the VP role, they can act as a more second in command, being able to make and orders similar to the president, with just now needing the president official permission on accepting so.
also one thing i want to add is that, i'll try to make it so that the changes to denizenship require arent fully the same with your OTEra system, that way both can exist as separate titles
though i think for you it wouldnt matter as you, as you would most likely abolish the denizenship system or sort of merge the ruling with OTEra's
As for the roles, while i cant fix the disease of inactivity, but i can counter it and make the government somewhat alive, such as giving a ruling where all if a government member even the president isnt active for atleast 1-2 months, then they get automatically kicked out and there roles being replaced, that way, it can somewhat help in making the government active without leaving inactive members in the government.
Also the ruling or one to request leaving the government (though im pretty sure this already exists)

As a person I think he is a great guy but as a President, he did a very bad job. In his time, no parliament election happened which made the already dead parliament to become more dead. I dont hate ymir and poly but I think it was a very bad idea to not choose an election to fix the dead parliament. The government has done nothing other than electing denizen and not even being transparent with the process. It's outdated, leaving a large part of the current active user behind. Imo the requirements are too high and too long, it's not longer reflecting the active userbase of OT. It has to be improved for sure, to it actually reflects active users.Kobold84 wrote:

There was clearly a lack of activity and actions from him, to a point being sometimes secondary at taking some decision, and members of the council doing much more than what he did. And this rule added mid-elections to remove "inactive" candidate while they already registered, was just wrong imo, both in the idea and the execution. I can understand it was made to avoid inactive users, but this rule should have been added before the elections, and not during the elections. You don't even realize how annoying it is to read 90 threads, sometimes 120 threads in a week and gather News from them. And thanks to you, The number of threads to read has doubled since now I have to check if the old threads already read by me, have gotten new conversation on them. I have to check the date of so many threads. Its not easy as reading few threads and taking out a random post for the news T~T. With more mods in OT awake in different timezones, it helps lock a lot of the trash out and giving proper moderation to some, albeit maaaybe with some mistakes from time to time, but it aint much of a bother, being so rare.

I would revert the denizenship just so the mistake can be corrected, and make the order of denizenship correct as well being Anaxii to Kobold to Sametdze, and give Blushing the proper the correct denizenship at a later date alongside with the new rules for denizenship.
Also ban the idea of future privately requesting for denizenship, as its the governments responsibility for when one gets to receive the title of denizenship and for it to also correct its mistake and not leave it.

As for the roles, while i cant fix the disease of inactivity, but i can counter it and make the government somewhat alive, such as giving a ruling where all if a government member even the president isnt active for atleast 1-2 months, then they get automatically kicked out and there roles being replaced, that way, it can somewhat help in making the government active without leaving inactive members in the government.
Also the ruling or one to request leaving the government (though im pretty sure this already exists)

also one thing i want to add is that, i'll try to make it so that the changes to denizenship require arent fully the same with your OTEra system, that way both can exist as separate titles

As for the roles, while i cant fix the disease of inactivity, but i can counter it and make the government somewhat alive, such as giving a ruling where all if a government member even the president isnt active for atleast 1-2 months, then they get automatically kicked out and there roles being replaced, that way, it can somewhat help in making the government active without leaving inactive members in the government.
Also the ruling or one to request leaving the government (though im pretty sure this already exists)

Hydreigon, nor the denizenship or the requirement of active month and x amount of post are the problem. The problem is not applying them consistently. These rules were never even applied on denizen above Gen8. And right now these rules are not getting applied. Thats the issue. This entire government election is just going to revert back to the same issues as previous ones. The lot of you think there is an inherent importance to the denizen title yet cant explain why it matters so much other than "Recognition and Hall of Fame", If i cared about actually needing that I wouldn't have named myself something so recognizable as "Blushing".
Revoke it or not I don't care, but you guys are using me to talk about an issue that will always plague the system. There is nothing that can be done until you all put away this fantasy that "I can be the one to fix denizen system", like be so fr.
