However there is one issue I find in here. Typing on time is good. but it doesn't really calculate your typing speed accurately. So in case you would like to make this "game" more accurate, I would suggest changing the "rules" a little bit.
I think we're a little too deep to change the ruleset now, but for future reference, what would you suggest for a better ruleset?
From my own experience I'd suggest following:
1. Use CPM (Characters per minute) instead of WPM (words per minute). CPM measurement is way more accurate because words can be very short (~3 letters) or very long (7+ letters). Thus with enough luck your result can be really boosted if you had a lot of short words. In
most cases WPM and CPM have a "linear" connection, but I still find this method more accurate.
2. Instead of typing random words on time, I find it way better to test and try typing a
quote (A normal text). The thing is, here it comes to the preference. I myself find it much better than typing random words on time.
(In the end the result will be the same. Fast people will be faster than others, meanwhile slow people will be slower. It's just that instead of having, let's say 130wpm you might have for example 110wpm)
I know people that think the same way. But truth be told I would have to talk to others to confirm that.
Nothing else that cross my mind right now, but if there will be anything else I will let you know.
