I'm pumped for my new hotswap keyboard kit. I've got all of my switches ready.
Sadly, my old linear broke.

I'm surprised you could actually have a decent typing speed on a touch screen.Akumace1 wrote:
Do I still get to be on the leaderboard?
Ah yes, those Frenchman and their AZERTY layout.Kittatro wrote:
I can't write in English... I have an azerty keyboard wich results in being slow af + doing errors on words containing a lot of letters we don't use much in french... But I'm still above some people *hehehe*
Also it feels weird not being able to see when you type the wrong letter in the middle of a word.
I'm typing on laptop btw. Buy me a mechanical keyboard and I'll go BRRRR.
Anyway I think this survey is a good idea, it allows us to FLEX our typing skills.
From personal experience, the only time I think you'd use the spacebar in Japanese is if you're a Westie (like me) and you want to type in the one, the only, the mythical:Tad Fibonacci wrote:
But the space bar is ridiculously small though. I never can get used to it. Though tbf I heard you rarely uses the spacebar while typing in Japanese anyways.Kittatro wrote:
very cool congratulations copain
how can you type that fast??? omg wtfTheKubaX wrote:
I thought that I might join the game aswell. If you need proof or anything like that I can provide a video of me typing.
However there is one issue I find in here. Typing on time is good. but it doesn't really calculate your typing speed accurately. So in case you would like to make this "game" more accurate, I would suggest changing the "rules" a little bit.
It's not really that fast to be honest. I know a lot of people with 180-200 wpm average speed. If you type a lot everyday you will become faster and faster, that's all about it.ClevelandsMyBro wrote:

I think we're a little too deep to change the ruleset now, but for future reference, what would you suggest for a better ruleset?TheKubaX wrote:

Taking maybe 15 minutes out of your day to practice on monkeytype will definitely improve your skill over time.ClevelandsMyBro wrote:

Not necessarily as keyboards are mostly preference, but mechanical keyboards will always be significantly better for typing over your standard membrane boards.Yhuan Debeste wrote:
