yeah, I think I joined in on that near the end of the session. I have good internet, so as long as the viewers internet is semi-decent, it should all work out.
I don't think R rated movies should be a problem. So I suppose it's fine.Hydreigon wrote:
also are we restricted to picking only G-PG 13 rated movies, or can there be R rated movies as well?
yah as long as there are no sexual/nudity sceneries in it, its gonne be fine imoTad Fibonacci wrote:

I’m gonna take the best suggestions from my poll and run a new poll a few days before the movie night.abraker wrote:
how will the movie be decided?
every single response except 1 or 2 said that 12 UTC works for them. I'll probably switch it up every now and than to give everyone a chance to join. 8UTC works for a lot of people too.clayton wrote:
how are you making 12UTC work as an american
should i attempt to wake up super early or sleep very late o_O
It's 12 UTC not 0 UTC, so it's 8 PM for you.Hydreigon wrote:
lel, imagine if we actually watch Shrek for our first movie screening.
but in all seriousness, I havent watched all those movies except for wall-e and shrek, though all of them seem pretty gud
and 12 utc is like 8am here, so I have to wake up early for this lel, though if the movie is quite long, then I may be able to catch up to the screening
tsk tsk, I hope you learned your lesson.abraker wrote:
I, too, once made a rookie mistake of screwing up timezones
that's way too much effort and I really don't want to keep watching the same movie twice.Hydreigon wrote:
i suggest maybe we could try to have like different screening time of the movie, like one screening for asain countries and one for americas
honestly, I might just start doing it whenever it's easiest for me. Waking up at 4am for the last movie was really stupid. 0400-0800 is the best, so I'll probably start doing that from now on. Only two people showed up for 1200UTC anyway, so it's stupid to hold the movie at 1200UTC for all the people who had that for their best time available if they're not even gonna show up. The same amount of people are likely to show up during 0400-0800 anyways, so.abraker wrote:

My savings aren't enough to buy a modem, and don't forget the price of the monthly data plan, its ridiculously expensive.ClevelandsMyBro wrote:

My family didnt have wifi until this year. So, when I was 13, my neighbour had a wifi but the signal can only reach my home in living room. Fortunately the wifi used WPA so it's very easy to hack the password with a few lines of linux command. So I had free wifi until my family move.
