Reserving a note here for when i come to mod this, i'll do the modding off site and link it in this post, since putting anything on the timeline at this point is suicide
Also i suppose we can group any other potential off-site mods in this post too, for those who can't post notes
osu://edit/06:42:422 (1) - rhythm would perhaps be more pog by making each slider node clickable, like this: https://imgur.com/a/ps4kAPl
eh its fine as is i liek little repeats since its less clicky click cliks
osu://edit/09:41:773 (1,2,3) - decrease spacing of these a little since I think they detract from the intensity of 09:42:223 (1,2,3) - which are on much stronger sounds
disagree i think they help build up to the later jumps
osu://edit/23:25:363 - 23:25:847 - can you not ignore the 1/4 here, it's really obvious and you can't even say that you preferred to map a slider over it or anything :C
Ill fight to the death other this as I do it the same way in every rendetion of ReI I've made to me even at the cost of following the song making thayt 1/1 gap stand out means more to since the pause gives so much emphasis to the stuff there
osu://edit/24:07:621 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - SAME AAA THIS IS PAINFUL
same i refuse to change this and if you need me to write a page essay about my ideals and junkj i will meowknife

This beatmap set was updated by the mapper after a nomination. Please ensure to re-check the beatmaps for new issues. If you are the mapper, please comment in this thread on what you changed.
People create astonishing technologies, fly into space, or do other crazy stuff and i just wasted 54 minutes of my life starring at a monitor and clicking two buttons on my keyboard. Worth it 9/11 would play again.
ok actual list

No one's gonna play this with HDDT or FL. There is the problem of it going over the score limit with NF and EZ, and I think the reason why the rule in the RC was removed was because some maps like "The Sun, The Moon, The Star" would go over the score limit with HDDT, but no one will FC it with those mods so it's accepted. However with this not being under the score limit with even NF or EZ is kinda a problem. You'll probably be asked to make it shorter since very few people will play this with HT for 73 minutes. I will also suggest that you split it since you'll be re-rendering the audio, and it won't take too much effort to split it.
At one point there was a rule in the ranking criteria that prevented maps with a score above the 2.147 billion thing couldnt be ranked. However when mapping this that rule was removed due to the whole scorev2 thing.
So to make it super clear
I'm not cutting the map/mp3 until I am directed to since currently no rules are being broken by this map.
And to you point about "The Sun, The Moon, The Star" That had absolutely no reason for why the rule was removed. That was basically the reason the scorev2 thing was added. Since in Alternator Compilation the map broke score in 4 mod ctb which was impossible to achieve. This map is in a weird spot since it just breaks score in everything.
Now the rule of 2.147b score thing was removed in response to the recently added scorev2 convert fix since it made no sense to have a rule for something that isnt an issue since you can't get 2.147 billion score on scorev2
this mix is not great.
5 second gaps of silence between tracks doesn't even qualify this as a crossfade, it's literally just a bunch of tracks stitched together to be played in the same set. the very first transition is 7 seconds of complete silence less than 2 minutes into the set. some are as long as 10-12 seconds. again, in COMPLETE silence.
https://osu.ppy.sh/help/wiki/Ranking_Criteria#guidelines.4
there's no justification for having something this sucky in your set. find someone capable of mixing (or try it yourself) and have them condense the thing way down.
ill figure out a way to get a proposal up or something since
in the guideline
"Song compilations should be mixed properly and should not include abrupt breaks or long fades between different songs. The songs used for the compilation should be similar in audio quality, volume and length. This is to ensure compilations achieve the same cohesive gameplay experience as other beatmaps."
properly mixed isnt defined because what makes it proper? Going off the pletohras of previously ranked compialtions it's fine (which ik using other sets to justify is dumb but still its like what makes a compilation a compialtion outside of it having more than 3 songs in a single mp3?)
abrupt breaks prob could be defined better aswell because what might be abrupt to some may not be to others
long fades makes no sense since to me a long fade is like 10 seconds
and I dont know what you volume you have but the first transistion is not 7 seconds of silence.
01:35:328 (3) - to 01:41:786 (1) - these are the objects and they arent 7 seconds apart
01:35:842 the first song ends here and goes silent (i mean technically its not and you can hear fade out if you crank the volume)
01:41:119 second song has defnate sounds here and its just not 7 seconds its like 5.2 seconds
adding on to more
the longest break is actually between 47:38:792 (4) - and 47:47:940 (1) - which is ~9 seconds long
however it really isnt 9 seconds of silence since the first song has a long ass fade that starts at 47:38:875 and ends at 47:44:232 so in actuallity the silence starts from 47:44:232 and ends at 47:47:364 which is 3 seconds
Dude the oral cigarettes are just like one of the best bands in osu. This needs to be ranked
Oh yea Nevo is good at mapping, too
damn almost hour clicking circles,i think choking on the last song will make someone jump out of the window
At last! A song compilation from my favorite band! It's 54 mins long, cant wait to get it to ranked!!!
I really like the songs by The Oral Cigarettes this compilations of all their songs is great
