Preamble
OT! Is a land of churches and waifu worshipping for a long, long time. There're countless churches (and temples) popping off every now and then. Unfortunately, some churches has been the subject of tyranny. Church of Hoshimachi Suisei, for example, has been burnt to the ground and re-founded at least 6 times. To protect the freedom of waifu worshipping, as well as to keep the heretics away from the conduct of these churches, The practice of waifu worshipping, which will be refer to as "Waifuism" in this document, should be made a state religion.
Definitions
I. Waifu is a term for a human-like fictional character, usually in anime or related media, that someone has great, and sometimes romantic, affection for.
II. An act of worshipping Waifus, whether it be the creation of threads to appreciate the waifus (Appreciation Thread), or a place of worship them (Churches, Temples, etc. Which will be refer to simply as "churches"), shall be refer to as "Waifuism" in this document.
The Regulations
III. Waifuism shall be recognised as a state religion of OT!
IV. Freedom of Religion and freedom of worshipping other religions shall be protected. If those religions does not contradict or distort the teachings of Waifuism.
V. The OT! Government shall provide the funds necessary to help promote and support Waifuism and various churches
VI. The OT! Government have the power to close down threads promoting or practising Waifuism that violate the Constitution or the Grand Edict of OT!.
VII. It is the duty of the OT! Government to close down heretical instutions and carry out appropriate punishment to the individuals that
- poses a threat or potential threat against Waifuism.
- contradicts, distorts, undermines, or disrespects the teachings of Waifuism.
- promoting ideologies that are incompatible with Waifuism (such as Furryism).
VIII. If the government failed to comply with article III. to VII. of this bill, the denizens and denizen organisations reserved the rights to file a lawsuit against the government to the OTCourt.
