Hello. I’m Corne2Plum3, I’m a denizen from the 7th generation and active here for almost 4 years. I’m also moderating this place for more than 10 months. You may have known me as “Ralsei with a gun”, however I’m no longer a goat since I’m done with my “denial phase” (idk this is what y’all saying), I’m a 276 cm wolfie now UwU
I’m registering as a candidate because right now the whole system of government and denizen ship, which is one part of the soul in OT, is menaced more than ever and may disappear. I won’t let years of history going to waste. It need to change? Yes. To disappear? What’s next? That’s why I’m going to bring actual change to OT. My actual idea is to add an intermediate title, “dweller”, with relatively low requirements and which reflects the actual active user in OT. I’ll also nerf a bit the requirement of denizen ship as some are waiting 8, 9 or even 13 months before actually get it. But those change won’t be made before an open discussion where everyone can bring suggestions and improvement. I’ll also add more transparency with the government system, right now it’s hard to tell who’s actually taking the decisions... If you have any other ideas, I’ll listen, I’m open.
I made some ambitious threads, such as the OT!Skin collab (2021), or the french osu! shop (2022), and I was active on other projects such as the OT!Book, where I was literally the number 2 of the project, editing and releasing dozens of chapters.
For me a president of OT is someone who listens to users, and do actual actions to keep the sub-forum alive, and right now there are work to do.
I disagree with having an intermediate rank. If we aren't even obeying the denizen rule and giving denizen 6 months late, how are we going to manage to keep those two things at once?

we in the parliament work as a council for the president, we give opinions and possible directions, but in the end the final decision is still made by the president (in his absence such decisions will be made with the blessing of our council overlord).

Changing the rules during the registration phase should automatically void the elections and the elections should be postponed and remade. Considering I was an accepted candidate and there have been multiple attacks on my candidature by other posters (clearly against one of the rules of the elections stated in the starting post), there is clear evidence that the government is scheming to install a puppet-president.Patatitta wrote:

If anything, after the events of this election the entirety of the government should be dissolved and there should be instant elections to elect a new one, as this one has clearly grown too powerhungry and remains a bigger threat to OT's self governance than anyone else.
