[Taiko Oni]
Watched and played the Taiko diff.. Overall it's much better then before, good! It's a bit more organized now.
That's what I got:
Due to some unstable patterns and parts I got that.↑
00:10:765~00:29:913 - This part for example is mostly mapped on 1/2...
00:18:935~00:20:211 - ...and here it is suddenly 1/4. As fast as they appeard, they do disappear.
Overall you need to make a better pattern ratio. That means, that you need to use 1/2 and 1/4 notes in a balanced way. At the moment it's in that way, that the map is mainly mapped 1/2 but sometimes suddenly a big 1/4 stream appears.
Here some examples:
00:20:977~00:29:913 - Mainly mapped with 1/2 notes, suddenly on 00:30:169 - there appears a really big 1/4 stream. That's a huge diff spread you made there. To avoid this, you can make smilliar pattern for example 00:30:169~00:31:062 - k ddd ddk k
00:37:318~00:42:169 - Again. Mainly mapped 1/2 and suddenly on 00:42:424 - big stream appears.
00:53:658~00:58:637 - This is a total different difficulty then in the whole map before because you used here mainly 1/4.
Please try to avoid such cases. Think about how you want to map it. More 1/2 or more 1/4?
- If you want to map more 1/2 parts, then you should keep the 1/4 notes small in most cases.
- If you tend to map more 1/4, then it often fit's to use long 1/4 because you were prepared before in the whole map.
The trick is to follow the music, not to force the music to follow the map.
Then let's go to freestyle mapping
00:39:360 - Trust me, this dosen't fit well here and confuse the player more.
01:12:041 - ^
01:52:892 - ^
02:17:403 - This free style worked pretty well.
In generely I suggest you not to use freestyle yet. Better wait a few maps more, get the experience for it, and then you may try it again.
Some other stuff:
01:16:382~01:25:828 - It's not bad to have sometimes a different pattern in such cases. Else it seams really monotony.
↑ 01:31:445 - Too much different pattern. hahaha
01:45:041 - wrong snapped
01:54:935 - Spinner should be used in parts where it dose fit. Here is no real sound for it.
02:01:381 - wong snapped
02:05:147~02:12:296 - This is actually really good what you did there!
Gasaiyuno-chan, don't feel frustrated now. Everyone has a hard beginning and you are right now on the learning phase. Based on what I saw, I can say that you have potential for Taiko mapping, so don't fall back and try to edit your Taiko diff..
If you have any questions or don't understand what I said, feel free to ask me in IRC.~
I'm looking forward it. Gogo~
