Post ideas for osu! which would make a lot of controversy, while not being straight up bad (just implementing ads is boring, be more creative).
Here's a few I made:
Found a good map but the low AR is ruining your enjoyement? You cannot longer read AR8? The osu! devs have thought of you and decided to make the AR adjustable in the settings. You can already change the scroll speed in Mania, so why not? Mods such as Double Time or Hardrock are no longer affecting the AR settings, so Easy mod will actually make the map easier. Focus only on what's actually matters and your performace, to get more pp and reach the high score! Thus the AR won't be displayed anymore on the song selection as you have complete control on it.
You may think: "yes but we have Difficult Adjust," BUT it's unranked and has a 0.50x multiplier. You shouldn't be penalized from the mapper's preference. You think AR8 is too slow? Then change it, and keep going for PP.
By the way the maximum AR you can use is 11 (300 ms), so ranked maps above 11 stars are now playable without mods!
The same of what's actually implemented in Mania. No need to say more this is what you excepted.
You think the music is boring and not loud enough? You want even more fun while listening to the music and clicking circles? The devs have the solution for you. Introducing the EARRAPE mod (ER). The idea of this mod is making the sound much louder as before, because LOUD = FUNNY.

You can also turn it on only during kiai time, if you want (by default the whole song is affected):
