I think a big part of the reason for the locks and wasteland is because the GMTs may have interpreted some of those threads as “inflammatory” threads created in a response to the initial thread getting locked. They assumed the intent behind those threads were a bit nefarious, which tbh they probably were a bit lol.
But it was definitely just a bit of fun, no reason to lock due to that if that actually was the way the GMTs interpreted it. Granted, I didn’t read the wasteland’s thread, so I don’t really know if anything happened in that one.

Is swear, didn’t the second season just come out a few months ago? My perception of time must be fucked up lol.
It came out recently yea, december of last year. But season 2 ended pretty abruptly on a cliffhanger unlike season 1 which ended on what felt like more of a closed case.
To me it felt kinda like how anime often splits their seasons into "season x part 1, season x part 2" with part 2 coming out not long after part 1.

My main computer is in the city where I go to university, and I almost forgot to transfer the Pokémon OT!Red files to my laptop. If I had forgotten, I wouldn't have been able to work on Pokémon OT!Red during the month when I'll have the most free time... I mean, I could work on some music and sprites, but a whole month is a long time.
