I don't have the full context, but I understand where you're coming from. It's clear that the standards have shifted and are now more restricitive. It's not just a feeling, There is definitely change in the norms
Regarding moderation, I started disliking it after abraker stopped being active (in moderation). During his time. The approach was straightforward. If something was wrong, the thread would get locked. Since then, the moderation has become softer, and now when threads get locked or deleted, there is often backlash and attempts to defend the posts.. So, if now there is a lock or delete, there are some who go against it and try to defend. I'm not saying there were no complaints during abraker time, but the approach seemed simpler and clearer.
Though, If you don't like how a specific moderator is handling things, its always better to talk about it with him.

And personally I know OT culture well I'm here for more than 4 years, I know what is it, and yes, it changed, because the userbase changed, not because the moderation team was changed... RP was already almost dead in 2023 (excluding presidential/parliement elections)
