The PadOT! Coalition (formed 11/12/2022)

Information
The PadOT! Coalition, is a government formed amidst the Fourth Padoru Invasion. It runs separately to OT's current government, but will work towards peaceful relations.
The Coalition is a permanent Governing Force, consisting of Padoru and Padoru-kind, Man and Man-kind.
The Government will ensure the increase in Quality of Living, Economic Development, Research, and Public Relations.

Future Prospects
- OT! Homeland Repair Project

- Padoru Homeland Repair Project

- Denizen ID Project (pending)

- Weapons Research Project

- Startup Economy Project

- Housing Market Project (pending)

- Space Catalog Project

- $POT Stock Exchange Project (pending)

Governing Rights
The PadOT! Coalition has the right to perform the following:

- Impose fines on Disruptive Users

- Assign or Revoke leadership roles within the Coalition

- Settle Disputes within the Coalition

- Prevent a trade of good or service for a specified period of time

- Make donations to users struggling within the economy

- Force all active posters of OT! into the Economy / Market
( DISCLAIMER )

- Alter Coalition Law

hmm, and how exactly do you plan on enforcing those things? And why do you need weapons research when you already have an expendable non-sapient army of infinite size?

Its easy enough to word things in a pleasant way, the other prospects could end up being more nefarious than they seem.

I responded to this in Ghouly's Announcement
I don't blame the misunderstanding, yet there was one.
The economy in the Coalition is strictly related to Coalition goods.
Posters will be pulled into the economy via money being delivered to their account,
but can choose to do nothing with the money they were given, hence they are free to break rules if they choose not to care.

Rules only apply within the Coalition and it's various property and events, not the greater OT.

Hope that clears things up for you, and I hope we can co-operate peacefully in future.

The Economy is still a pending suggestion, since it's a complicated topic.
Also, it will run seperately to OT!Bucks.

Disclaimer:
Due to confusion surrounding Rule 6,
We would like to link this disclaimer.


Despite being worded so, members are still able to choose whether they participate in the economy or not, by remaining inactive within the market or choosing not to care.

This means, by choice, it is within the Citizens right to break rules if they wish to, as rules only apply within the Coalition, and will not effect the greater OT!.

This being said, the Economy is still a pending suggestion, due to its complexity to implement.
However, if this system does get implemented, we'll guarantee that it will be an enjoyable experience.

We apologise to the OT!Government and Citizens of OT! for any inconvenience this lack of information may have caused.

Hello, my name is yoony1, and I am an independent journalist writing an article about the formation of the PadOT! Coalition. I have sent a list of questions to clarify some of the statements made by the PadOT! Coalition and the goals of the PadOT! Coalition. I would be grateful if the PadOT! Coalition could take time to answer my questions.

  1. The definition of a Coalition is simply "an alliance between different parties". From the name "PadOT! Coalition" and the description of the PadOT! Coalition as a "government", I assumed that the PadOT! Coalition was simply a governing body. However, because of the use of the words "within the Coalition" in some of the Governing Rights and the disclaimer about Rule 6, the "Coalition" can be interpreted as something larger than simply a governing body. As such, I ask for clarification on the seemingly disparate use of the term "Coalition".
  2. The PadOT! Coalition states itself as a "government", but what exactly will the PadOT! Coalition govern over?
  3. The PadOT! Coalition slogan comprises of 3 words, "Conceive", "Collect" and "Control". I assume that the word "Conceive" is to do with the many developments that the PadOT! Coalition is planning to implement as described in the Future Prospects, but I am unclear on what "Collect" and "Control" would refer to. As such, I ask for clarification on all three words of the PadOT! Coalition slogan.
  4. What is the purpose of the "Denizen ID Project", and how will it help the PadOT! Coalition achieve their goals?
  5. The PadOT! Coalition has stated that it will work "towards peaceful relations". If so, what is the purpose of the Weapons Research Project?
  6. Many of the Future Prospects and Governing Rights seemingly show an intent to create some sort of confined, separate economy. Is this true, and if not, what does the PadOT! Coalition plan to do economy wise?
  7. If my interpretation in the previous question is true, what would be the purpose of this economy, and why would the PadOT! Coalition create a new economy instead of adding to already established economies?
  8. One of the Governing Rights states that the PadOT! Coalition will "Impose fines on Disruptive Users". What exactly is a "Disruptive User", and what would these "fines" be?
  9. One of the Governing Rights states that the PadOT! Coalition will "Make donations to users struggling with the economy". As this Governing Right is seemingly the one that will effect the lives of average OT users the most from their perspective, I would like clarification on how this Governing Right will be implemented, and what OT users can expect from this.
  10. One of the Governing Rights states that the PadOT! Coalition will "Force all active posters of OT! into the Economy/Market". Later, a disclaimer was released explaining that users are free to not engage with this Economy/Market. Because of this, I ask whether there is a specific reason that all "active posters" will be "forced" into the Economy/Market if they can choose not to engage with it, instead of active posters choosing to be involved in the Economy/Market themselves without being forced.
  11. Why did the PadOT! Coalition partner with British Megacorp©™, and what do they wish to get out of this relationship?
I hope that the PadOT! Coalition will be able to answer these questions, so the world of OT can have a better understanding of the PadOT! Coalition.

Even abraker failed to implement economy because it was way too difficult.

You cannot possibly have an economy without products. Economy is the result of trading activities, and not the reverse.

I don't like the idea of getting free supporter from making posts. It'll just attract a lot of people here who don't care about OT at all.

From now on, posts like these will be disregarded.
If you intend to make accusations about previously clarified points (of which have been clarified clearly and, in some instances, multiple times), there is no basis to your announcement.

If this were a real OT!Govt post, the poster would have read all the details and kept up to date with clearly marked information.
We intend to work with the OT!Govt to share research and quell conflict, we do not intend to work with whatever the hell this is.

TLDR if you want us to take you seriously, don't make us repeat ourselves.

PadOT! Coalition, Amendment 1 (4/01/2023)

Upon further discussion within the Coalition and OT!Gov, several amendments will be made to the PadOT! Future Prospects and Governing Rights.

The following Future Prospects will be suspended:

- Padoru Homeland Repair Project

- Startup Economy Project

- $POT Stock Exchange Project (temporary)
The following Governing Rights will be suspended:

- GR 1

- GR 4 (temporary)

- GR 6 (active, not imposed by our entity)
These amendments were done in an effort to peacefully work with the OT!Government, in their efforts to bring about a new era of OT.
