immortality's pretty okay, honestly. of course, you have to bear lifetimes of potential pain and loss, and it's possible that you're noticed as this ageless anomaly, which could complicate things... but...
...there's so much you can do with seemingly infinite time, so much to create, to change, to help with. it does make you susceptible to feeling kind of empty, i guess. otherwise, i'd say the concept is still bearable.

i suppose part of it is because i view life/death partially as a dichotomy between agency and freedom to grow versus the cessation of growth. like "can" versus "can't", where, as long as you're alive, you can always do something.
it's much easier to decide to be immortal as a result-- to kinda... just do shit anyways. maybe it hurts to lose so much in the midst of that, though... like losing a series of pets. outliving everyone. that's surely pretty sad.

I can barely bear it right now and I’m barely in my 20s. Immortality is a hard pass for me.

if you choose a favorite song of yours, and it's simple enough, mapping shouldn't be hard!
try to map frequently if you want to improve your mapping quality, and play more ranked maps to see how they use notes for sounds!
