Yes and no. Vascularity plays a big part in my ranking criteria, but it's not the only thing that matters. Overall hand/finger proportions, knuckle and tendon visibility, hairiness, fingernail length, and sometimes fingernail cleanliness... please guys... keep your nails clean.

The items that I listed above don't include everything that is a part of my ranking criteria. A lot more goes into ranking hands than it seems.

A lot of the times, these things go hand in hand. A lot of hands that have good vascularity also have good tendon visibility, etc etc.

you mean rating hands? I think only like 3 or 4 people IRL know of my fascination for hands. It'd be kinda weird to go to everyone I know and ask if I can admire their hands lmao

why do i use a glove? well, because my hands sweat and get stuck to the tablet surface
can't really tell what's going on here due to the glove. I don't see much vascularity, tendon visibility, or any defining features.

proportions are good. vascularity is decent. Your hands seem kind of dry, maybe some lotion would help you out. It could just look that way due to the lighting though, I'm not sure. Also, clip your nails. Waaaay too long and uneven.

This thread made me realize hand exercises are heavily underrated.

yeah, you can absolutley change your hand to a certain degree. Obviously, scars and blemishes aren't one of those things that you can change, but I don't rate based on scars. I think that would be a bit unfair.

Losing weight helps your hand form nice angles, tendon visibility, vascularity, and more. Then there's overall nail and skin health. Well trimmed nails and good skin moisture helps a lot.

and yeah, photo angles and lighting absolutely helps me form a better judgement of ones hands.
