Yes and no. Vascularity plays a big part in my ranking criteria, but it's not the only thing that matters. Overall hand/finger proportions, knuckle and tendon visibility, hairiness, fingernail length, and sometimes fingernail cleanliness... please guys... keep your nails clean.eblf2013 wrote:

The items that I listed above don't include everything that is a part of my ranking criteria. A lot more goes into ranking hands than it seems.
A lot of the times, these things go hand in hand. A lot of hands that have good vascularity also have good tendon visibility, etc etc.

yeah, you can absolutley change your hand to a certain degree. Obviously, scars and blemishes aren't one of those things that you can change, but I don't rate based on scars. I think that would be a bit unfair.eblf2013 wrote:

Losing weight helps your hand form nice angles, tendon visibility, vascularity, and more. Then there's overall nail and skin health. Well trimmed nails and good skin moisture helps a lot.
and yeah, photo angles and lighting absolutely helps me form a better judgement of ones hands.
