Self-Mod Changelog:

- Fixed some patterns in Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties to increase flow and readability.
- Added bookmarks for convenience!
- Added new video to reduce file size. Please redownload map if necessary!
- All difficulties finished (except Collab@Function).
- Changed and rearranged some patterns to increase flow.
- Added all Hitsounds! Moving to Pending!
- More hitsound fixes and additions on Hard and Insane! Please redownload map!
- Increase Stack Leniency to Default (0.7).
- Removed Collab@Function difficulty. I lost motivation to collab as I already have a full spread mapset. Sorry Irreversible!
- I may add some contrast later in the ranking process. :3

00:55:720 (3) - Move this note to make (2) and (3) with (1) center. I was thinking of doing this earlier (while self-modding), but I have some doubts regarding flow. Since you said so, I shall consider. Fixed!
01:04:291 (3) - Move a bit this note to X;212 Y;148 to look better. Not bad. Fixed!
01:10:505 (6) - NC Here ? It's not really needed as it's still at the same musical section. I didn't added them in my other difficulties. :/

Thanks for the mod! I agree that Normal was a bit too easy, but distance snap is fine! I might consider using CS4 in the future.
It will be unrankable if the difficulty spread is not consistent enough, so I will consider making Normal difficulty a little harder. :D

As for Hard difficulty, it's okay to have short streams for Hard difficulty, just not long streams. :3

Okay, fixed everything! Although, it not even a galgame (or galge) but I added both including "galge" and "vn" in tags. ^_^

That's kind of true. I copy-pasted the patterns at 00:37:934 (1,2) and angled it. I will keep this one as it's not really that noticeable during gameplay.

I also remapped some parts on Insane for better flow. The maximum combo is a bit higher now! More to come! :D
Update: Adjusted the hitsound volumes to add contrast to the map!

Here I am.


[General]

  1. I advise to change Slidertick rate to 1; 2 is too much as there are not many sounds in the background, no strong drums and especially in the beginning it's annoying to listen to the ticks.

[Easy]

  1. 00:03:648 (1) - I'd rather remove the whistle on the repeat and end here, if you compare the sounds with 2 you will hear that the second pitch is way higher, doing this will be more following that.
  2. 00:13:934 - From this part until the break; I would redesign hitsounding, claps are not heard in the music so I'd rather stay with hitnormals or try normal sampleset.
  3. 01:20:791 (2) - You could try a clap on the end to follow the drum rhythm.
  4. 01:25:291 (3) - Missing a clap on the repeat for consistency.
  5. 01:28:505 (1,2) - Add claps for the same reason as above.
  6. 01:37:720 (3) - Another finish sounds spammed with the one on the downbeat, changing to Normal sampleset would be following the strong beat better and avoid this.
  7. 01:48:005 (3) - I don't agree with your placing here, following the flow of the melody might be a possibility, but you're missing the downbeat on which cymbals are playing, so you could either move it to the downbeat and shorten it, or rearrange the whole rhyhtm. Also; here should be a NC for consistency.
  8. 01:53:362 (5) - This should have a NC to be consistent; the part after the KIAI uses NCs for every downbeat, so yea.

[Normal]

  1. 00:03:648 (1) - Same comment as on Easy.
  2. 00:07:077 (1,2,3,) - This part seems too filled for what the music provides; actually there is only a soft piano and the vocals (and some synch sounds) so I'd recommend to remove some notes, plain 1/1 doesnt work well at all.
  3. 00:13:934 (1) - Same thing for this part as on Easy.
  4. 00:19:077 (4) - On Easy; this was NC'd, I'd recommend to do the same thing here as music changes with her singing.

    I see what you mean, but I really like this pattern and I don't want to just remove it out of the blue. I would need to think about it. This is the only issue I have with Easy difficulty.
  8. 01:53:362 (5) - This should have a NC to be consistent; the part after the KIAI uses NCs for every downbeat, so yea. I'm a little iffy about this. Andrea told me to remove them as there's no need for single combos and I agreed with him. Sorry :<

You are correct, but I did this intentionally. The only reason why I didn't add a new combo here is to avoid single combos. The slider and the drain rate are not long and high enough (respectively) for it to have a single combo.

Overall this was really nicely done. A few of the red ticks felt a bit uncomfortable but it's completely playable.

  1. 01:05:148 (1) - https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1097658 | This gets pretty close to touching my lifebar (which is a recreation of the original old one.) Its possible that people with a longer bar or those that play in 4:3 might actually have part of the slider go underneath.
  2. 01:25:291 (4,1) - I went through the editor and noticed that you have the spinner 1/4 directly after the circle. Is it possible to move this at least 1/4 ahead so that new mania players won't get completely destroyed by the sudden 1/4?
  3. 01:51:220 (2,3,4) - The first thing that bugs me is that the note actually feels a lot closer due to it being placed under the horizontal slider and giving off a fake illusion that it might actually be 1/1 instead of a 3/2 | Not asking to change this, but just wanted to point out that it might be very hard to read for an easy diff to newer players.

Overall this was done, again, very well. No major problems. I found this to be a little too easy actually. Not sure how much you toned it down from when Irre asked, but it's definitely possible that it could use a minor difficulty boost now. 00:14:362 (3,4) - CTRL + G the rhythm here please, it sounds much cleaner. I know it destroys your pattern, but it's worth it.

00:56:791 (1) - You should use a jump here as well to emphasize the finish.. I agree with you! Currently, this pattern has inconsistent spacing comparing to the previous and next notes. This is a must fix. More to come!
01:14:148 (1,2) - The jumpgods called me and where angry, because they want to see increased spacing here. Well, this dudum kinda calls for it. Personal preference tho :P It would makes sense that the jump gods were angry, because I added jumps in my Hard difficulty but not on my Insane difficulty! Fixed, so the jump gods don't punish me! D:

Overall I like the map, but please take a look 00:53:148 (4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - at this part, I think you could place the jumps better if you emphasize the finishes I'll see what I can do here, but there's no guarantees that I could find another alternative pattern without experimenting a little. Hell, it was very hard to rearrange 01:39:648 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) on Normal, but I somehow find the solution. Hopefully, I can find a solution for this pattern as well. More to come!

I think it is a bit hard because to me the transition between the notes is a bit rough as of now when you hit it, it curves like a red tick slider and in my opinion it should curve like a white tick slider. I think doing this to the pattern will make it smoother to play
  3. 00:19:077 (2,3) - In my opinion I think the placement with these two sliders could be a bit better.   1. 00:20:791 (4) - I know this one circle is supposed to form a pattern with 00:17:362 (1,2,3,4) -, but the flow from (3) to (4) as you can see, isn't really good here, as players will need to make an sharp upward turn with the cursor, whilst the natural flow from (3) is aiming to the right, not up :< So yeah, it wasn't a really big problem, but considering the flow up until this point is all natural, you might consider changing this :3 though there aren't many option available to change the pattern without changing the rhythm a bit here orz My suggestion here is to arrange the rhythm a bit here; You can change 00:19:077 (3) - to a 1 1/2 repeat slider with the repeat on 00:19:720 -, I think this one fits better imo, since the vocal here is also repeating on the word 'kitte', so the repeat will emphasize this too :3 And then you can try making the pattern like this

Though I feel this one has a slightly more denser vocal on this part, I'd suggest to make these two circles into a slider. That way, beginner will have less chance on breaking the combo here owo
  3. 01:19:077 (1,2,3) - Seeing as how aesthetics plays a major role on this difficulty, having these two straight sliders are a bit out of place compared to all other patterns lol I'd suggest to tidy them a bit here;you can try to curve them to form a a curved triangle like this

See, the rhythm on 01:29:362 (1,2) - are following the vocal exactly, whilst on the next slider at 01:30:862 (3,4) - don't; it follows the main 1/1 rhythm back and kinda suddenly too imo :< Beginners will hit 01:31:934 (4) - early because they will though that it follows the vocal on 01:31:720 - :' So yeah, my suggestion here is to change 01:31:934 (4,5) - into a slider here, because in my experience (and watches many beginners play :b), sliders are read more easier than circles; it will also help greatly if you want to change from one rhythm to another. So consider changing the rhythm to become like this owo

  1. 00:20:791 (4) - Consider adding NC here, as the rhythm here has actually changed; this one follows the background music like in the next spin :3 and you may also want to keep the consistency in comboing since you used NC here on Hard and Insane too :b
  2. 00:43:077 (1,2,3,4) - Instead of making this part only used 8 eight circles play, you can try making the rhythm more interesting here, since the previous patterns (i.e 00:38:791 (2,3,4,5) - for instance) plays really good :3 So yeah I suggest to spice the rhythm here to emphasize the vocal; since the vocal here is a bit more powerful than the background music. Try changing 00:43:934 (3,4) - to a two connecting 1/2 slider pattern (just like what you did on 00:37:077 (6,7) - ). You might want to decrease the jump there, as I think the highest jumps in Hard should be in 1.5 to 1.8 to be played comfortably imo :D Though it's your decision to change it, just consider :3
[Insane]

  1. 01:18:434 (9) - Uh I know that you used slidertick hitsound on this map, but unlike on the other parts of the map, I don't really find this one fits imo :< You see, on this slider, you followed the vocal (you started following the vocal on since 01:18:005 (7,8,9) - ), and the clap sound in the tick doesn't go really well with it; it gives a somewhat disruptive feeling with the vocal :C So yeah, I'd suggest to remove the clap slidertick here and just use the soft sampleset one~
  2. Uwaah, the flow here is really good! :D There aren't anything that I can find; the jumps are placed on the right places and there aren't any weird flow here owo So yeah, nice job here too Ike! :3/
