Here I am.
[General]
[Easy]
[Normal]
[Hard]
[Insane]
A really good mapset after all, especially Insane.
The only problem I'd work on is the spread from Normal to Hard, the gap is quite high so I'd put a little bit more effort into making Hard easier.
Oh yea, please reply to this and poke me when you're done applying, I'd love to take a look at your changes :3
Good luck!
[General]
- I advise to change Slidertick rate to 1; 2 is too much as there are not many sounds in the background, no strong drums and especially in the beginning it's annoying to listen to the ticks.
[Easy]
- 00:03:648 (1) - I'd rather remove the whistle on the repeat and end here, if you compare the sounds with 2 you will hear that the second pitch is way higher, doing this will be more following that.
- 00:13:934 - From this part until the break; I would redesign hitsounding, claps are not heard in the music so I'd rather stay with hitnormals or try normal sampleset.
- 01:20:791 (2) - You could try a clap on the end to follow the drum rhythm.
- 01:25:291 (3) - Missing a clap on the repeat for consistency.
- 01:28:505 (1,2) - Add claps for the same reason as above.
- 01:37:720 (3) - Another finish sounds spammed with the one on the downbeat, changing to Normal sampleset would be following the strong beat better and avoid this.
- 01:48:005 (3) - I don't agree with your placing here, following the flow of the melody might be a possibility, but you're missing the downbeat on which cymbals are playing, so you could either move it to the downbeat and shorten it, or rearrange the whole rhyhtm. Also; here should be a NC for consistency.
- 01:53:362 (5) - This should have a NC to be consistent; the part after the KIAI uses NCs for every downbeat, so yea.
[Normal]
- 00:03:648 (1) - Same comment as on Easy.
- 00:07:077 (1,2,3,) - This part seems too filled for what the music provides; actually there is only a soft piano and the vocals (and some synch sounds) so I'd recommend to remove some notes, plain 1/1 doesnt work well at all.
- 00:13:934 (1) - Same thing for this part as on Easy.
- 00:19:077 (4) - On Easy; this was NC'd, I'd recommend to do the same thing here as music changes with her singing.
- 00:37:077 (7) - Consider to add a whistle to the start due to the high tone in the music.
- 00:40:505 (5) - Same thing as above.
- 01:17:791 (5,6) - This stacks and those doubles make this part pretty confusing, I'd rather replace this or some of them by Sliders but ugh.
- 01:20:148 (4,5,6) - Worst thing is this one, suddenly there are three instead of two stacked objects; not only confusing for newbies but flow breaking. 4 is not really needed for rhythm, so you could remove 4 and make 3 a 1/1 Slider, that'd work much better.
- 01:28:505 (1,2) - Same clap suggestion as on Easy.
- 01:31:720 (4) - I don't recommend to use stacks on endings for the easier diffs. Approach circle is far harder to see this way so I'd just unstack or try a more simple rhyhtm.
- 01:32:791 (1,2) - Same problem as above; however the circle 2 should have a finish to be consistent with Easy and follow the vocals.
- 01:37:720 (3) - Same suggestion as on Easy on the Sliderstart.
[Hard]
- 00:08:148 (4) - Wut? There is nothing prominent or strong in the music, yet you have a huge jump here. I'd either say just reduce or make the spacing consistent.
- 00:13:934 (1) - Same comment on hitsounding you know.
- 00:18:648 (1,2,3,4,5) - This part doesn't play well at all, it seems like you used random 1/2 rhythm to me and I had problems following. I'd delete 5, extend 4 by 1/2 and either leave the part empty or add 1 or 2 notes.
- 00:37:720 (10) - Uhhh, why is this a jump? ;_;
- 00:57:648 (3,4,5,6) - 3 Circle jumps all of the sudden? Seems quite exhausting and difficult for a Hard to me.
- 01:21:648 (6) - Try to add a clap to the start to follow the drums.
- 01:39:220 (7,8,9,10) - 5 notes stacked err, I don't find this quite cool for a Hard, could you stack a note on a 2 times repeating Slider?
- 01:47:255 (4) - I wouldn't use not prominent 1/4 rhyhtm in a Hard, it should be easy to remove this note.
- 01:51:220 (4,5) - Seems as if this jump was only for the sake of symmetry, right? Doesn't play really good here in my opinion, and you should be using more consistent spacing for Hard difficulties.
[Insane]
- 00:12:220 (1,2) - Ending those two on the blue ticks sounds odd, the main melody is 1/2 so I'd rather extend both by 1/4, then you could try ctrl + G on 2 for smoother flowing.
- 00:37:077 (7) - Whistle to catch the high tone?
- 00:46:934 (2) - Should actually start 1/4 earlier to follow the rhythm probably, the high tone on the blue tick is pretty prominent. You could either do this and rearrange the pattern or think of another rhythm.
- 01:10:077 (4) - Same problem as above.
- 01:37:720 (1) - I suggest Normal sampleset for this note again xD
A really good mapset after all, especially Insane.
