Halloween doesn't really have the same vibe here imo, in the Northern Hemisphere Halloween occurs in Autumn, so it does have a nice aesthetic going for it, as well as its just simply more celebrated over there due to cultural factors.
Halloween being in Spring, with the heat and all, kills the mood. At least it does for me, but age could also be a factor (that considered, I haven't had someone knock on our house for a Trick or Treat since 2018).

Holloween used to be big in my neighborhood but ever since Italians moved out it has lost the holiday spirit 😔
