Then shouldn't the plural of "choose" be "cheese"?

i.g. "I hade a multiple cheese exam"

Furthermore, if the plural of "ox" is "oxen" then wouldn't that mean that the plural for "latinx" be "latinxen"?

Should one continue, if the plural of "foot" is "feet" then doesn't it follow that the the singular for "NEET" be a single "NOOT"?

I'll leave the council with one last example. If the plural for "larva", is "larvae" then PHONETECALLY speaking, "anime" is the plural and "anima" is the singular?

ANIMA girl unrelated

"Choose" and "Cheese". while its funny to think of cheese as a plural, the english language doesnt consistently apply the same rule acroos different word. Choose comes from the old english and its plural doesnt follow a predictable pattern like some other words

"Ox" and "Latinx" The plural oxen is a remnant of old english, while latinx is a relatively modern term, it follows more current naming conventions. Thats why latinxen isnt typically used, As latinx itself serves as both singular and plural.

"Foot" and "Neet" Foot becomes Feet due to its historical roots. While Neet is an acronym that doesnt follow traditional pluralization rules. Neet remain singular regardless of quantity

"Larva" and "Anime" You are right about larva becoming Larvae, however anime is borrowed from japanese, where plural is the same as the singular. The term anima is also rooted in Latin, but in english we tend to stick with anime for both singular and plural

choose is already plural, chooses is the singular form, though of course choose can be used as a singular depending on context because verbs are weird like that

They choose to vote English as the worst language.
He chooses to learn another language instead.
I choose to give up on understanding grammar.

choice is also a noun and is singular, so replacing it with a plural choose doesn't really make sense

though I do think that "latinx" is rather awkward and doesn't fit Spanish phonetics well, and though I think that "latine" is a much better word to use for gender neutrality, I used it because I thought it would be funny to pluralize it, next question

not quite a rabid rabbit, I think my fursona would be a raccoon if anything, maybe a tanuki on account of my extremely elastic and abundant scrotum
