ok i just saw a second watch of it and it reminds me of those "THIS IS WHAT ANGRY BIRDS WILL LOOK LIKE IN 2017" type of videos, like the mobs and what not look too fluffy and steve looks like a crackhead even though he's being played by jack black
also the random people like that kid and the guy in the pink just seem added in because they couldn't be bothered of thinking of an actual plot

To be honest, if minecraft sticked to one thing, either a fully animated movie (Such as mario) or a real life film, it would most likely turn out more better. When talking about a Minecraft movie, I thought of animation, not stupidly awkward CGI.

if they don't spend a sizeable portion of the budget turning the normal people into minecraft versions (because yes that CAN happen if they focus on the more defining features of the characters) then this movie will most likely lose the marketing game and it'll flop before anyone even goes to watch it
also remove the realism filter (maybe leave it for the water but it has to be subtle enough to not be noticeable)
