4 digit is pretty easy in taiko but you have to be willing to spend a significant amount of time learning how to play onis with a viable playstyle, or farm fast muzukashii difficulties. Catch is going to be hard, at least if you just play specifics. I'm not 4 digit yet and I've already started fcing platters and am comfortable with hyperdashes, so I'd say it's pretty difficult now to reach that level in catch compared to a few years ago.DM FOR MUTUAL wrote:

Standard and mania are both really difficult to reach 4 digits in. I'm almost out of 5 digits now in mania, and I had been playing other VSRGs for a few years before trying osu!mania and playing for a year. I could never get a 4 star fc or 5 star pass, because from 3 stars on my hands were hurting from trying to hit so many chords. I'm best at streams and tech, but those are worth nothing in the mania sr system so unless you're good at jumpstreams/handstreams/chordjacks it will be difficult to rank up. Standard is difficult simply because of the amount of pp required now to reach 4 digits.
