OT Parliament Election 2024
if you don't know what a parliament is I strongly recommend reading the wikipedia article on it and also probably start watching the news since it's pretty weird that you don't know that, but in summary, they would help me (the president) actually do stuff without it becoming a dictatorship
Duties of parliament
- Be active in the official government discord
- Vote in official government issues
- Suggest ideas to the president
- Maintain threads managed by the government
Registration
How to be an OT! Parliament Member:
To be a parliament member, you must first register here in this thread. Once registered, you will be accepted into the Parliament member's election where 3 candidates will be chosen to be parliament members.The only requirement for voting or participating in this thread is to have been active for at least 3 months in the past 12 months. So this means, appearing on OT every 3-4 days for 3 months straight over the span of a year, in the case of any edge case, it would be brought up in this thread and discussed.
There are NO denizenship requirement
To register, please post your registration form here on this thread and you will be added to the list of candidates. There are certain information that are required and will be listed further into this post.
Failure to provide the required information will lead to your registration form not being accepted.
We will stop accepting registration forms one week after this announcement had been made and the voting poll will soon open right after.
If you don't meet the requirements you're still free to post in this thread, you just cant register or vote.
Registration Form:
For your registration form to be accepted, you'll need to provide the following:
- Introductions (Username, which generation of Denizens are you in, your position in OT etc)
- Motivations for registration and intentions when holding public office.

Voting information:
- You can't bribe people into becoming a member of parliament or try to rig the election in any way shape or form, doing so may get you exiled.
- Votes are anonymous and you can vote up to 3 candidates.
- The vote will last 1 week.
- In case of a tie, the current parliament will decide.
How to vote:
- DM patatitta in osu or discord (Discord name is still "patatitta"),
- After sending your vote, please confirm it by posting a message on this thread. You can do so by simply posting a simple message such as "I Voted".
- After your vote has been confirmed, you will be given a unique token. After I released the statistics one week from now, you will be able to see your token along with the candidate you voted for.
