Give your Hot Takes below, Ill respond with my take on your Hot Take.

Format goes like

Poster 1: I think osu!standard is overrated.

Blushing: I think you are right, while osu!standard does provide a different level of competition than the other gamemodes, I feel that mania 7k, taiko, and catch all have their own difficulties and are often overlooked, so yeah I think its overrated.

I think it is the best subforum to actually have fun and have a true community. I mean where else can you have RP political coups and debates? It is unrivaled in fun, but it lakes common sense and maturity, but thats ok because we play a game where anime girls in bikinis are the stable background.

I feel that movies and videogames and the such shouldn't be afraid to be political, as being political is a good thing. People who are against politics in these mediums often do it as a way of applying their normally right wing views

we should start encouraging people who are very entrenched in a fandom to actually go outside their fandom and consume other pieces of media. (This is a direct call-out to some of the people here)

I dont think STD is overrated, but I agree other gamemodes are just not looked at enough it would be nice to see more posts about those.

There are some insane catch plays that no one really knows about which really sucks.

About 80% of 5 and 6 digits players play the wrong way. The way we play is like playing a song and then start pleasuring yourself while sleeping. The only players that play the correct way are EZ/HD/EZHD players.

I don't find it as a good or bad thing per se but I am okay with it as long as it is not preachy or it is not done just for the morbid aspects instead of making an actual good representation.

i think you're seriously overthinking this and trying to fill gaps that aren't there. i find it way more likely people here just have low standards. most people are here to fuck around and don't care if something kinda sucks because they aren't here looking for masterpieces

Yeah, for such a big buildup, the Object Show didn't really deliver a plot that I could understand in any way. I don't understand what you mean by "[Patatitta] is overthinking" since what he wrote was quite a common surface level statement (wasn't a hot take). Nor do I understand what you mean by moral crusade, since that term doesn't even come close to applying here.

that's an awful take, bethesda just releases broken games that the community is "supposed" to fix, this is a bad practice, and in fact, it hasn't worked at all with starfield, also that modding bethesda games is fucking annoying, and they tried charging you money for it that one time. I agree that minecraft should have better modding support, but you can do that AND still continue developing the game, I don't get what abandoning java would accomplish at all
