What are your genre preferences when it comes to playing osu beatmaps, any game mode is fine(would be nice if you embed an example map for each genre as well). Here's the exampleEurobeatEDMTranceFuture CoreElectroHard RockDenpa KeiFuture HouseDeath MetalPopDubstepDrum and Bass

meramipop and nayuta vocals <3
faster-paced japanese stuff [1] [2]
experimental electronic stuff, might be a hit-or-miss tho depending on the song [1] [2] [3] (it's a shame those don't have maps yet)
artcore if it's feryquitous, kaneko chiharu or frey's philosophy. else it might depend on the song too

music that isn't just lyrics over a earworm melody, overly simple bassline and a boots n' cats drum beat.

then obviously its gotta be rhythmically interesting and a decently fast tempo on top of that to be a good beatmap and a song I like.

music genre that got mapped on osu and the music i love listening are two different story...

if strictly speaking from osu beatmaps, i only enjoy playing the broad sense "anime" maps and breakcore maps

I can go enjoy and play with different genres but what really strikes me the most are from video games like Ar tonelico, vn, and touhou, songs from shimotsuki haruka, shikata akiko, nekomata, erum Nagi and genres like folk, classical, fantasy and celtic music. I also enjoy parts electronic music like yunomi, t-pazolite, and camellia. Lastly, I enjoyed Japanese music very much which includes denpa, and other genres.
