00:13:003 (6) - Remove this, and try placing a try hit circle at 00:13:926 with a finish.
How it should look:
-Ignore the green hit circle on the left, I messed up on the screenshot a bit :S
00:15:310 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5) - Shift all these notes one white tick to the right, so that the first slider starts at 00:15:772 now. notes would usually start on the tall white tickmark after a pause, to indicate a new rhythm.

And combos are jsut a bit too long :S

General: Oh boy. OGPlanet. I played Rumble Fighter. That community was awful.

Okay. This map is great. Easily identifiable beat, no weird notes, no stacking and such. Nothing for me to say here. (:

[Normal]

00:00:310 (1,2) - Something is weird here. I feel like circle 2 was unexpected, perhaps not stacking it would make no-so-unexpected, I have no idea.

Other than that, this chart is great.

[Hard]

00:00:310 (1,2,3,4) - Perhaps make these like a square?
00:28:695 (8) - Jeez, I hate notes like this. I never know when they end. I guess this is okay, but I would just map something else here.

[EruJazz's Insane]

01:19:926 (1,2) - This jump is kinda intense.
01:25:695 (4) - Distance snapping is weird.
01:45:541 (4,5,6) - Maybe make these circles? The sliders are kinda unnecessary here.

  2. 00:42:310 (2,3,4) - Hmm, not sure if the 0.6x SV is really necessary here. Leave it if you believe it fits this part of the song, but I don't think there's an evident change in tempo or anything.
  3. 00:55:926 (4) - Ctrl+G. Flows better imo.
  4. 01:04:464 (1) - You need to extend this slider so the tail is on the red tick. The red tick is where you can here the beat. Here for reference 01:05:387.
  5. 01:07:695 (1) - It would be better if you could replace this spinner with a couple of notes. It's a short spinner that doesn't really fit - there is a defined drum beat in this section.
  6. 01:16:695 (1) - Please neaten this slider up. Make the bottom of the 'W' even.
  7. 01:43:464 (2,3,4,5,1) - Overlap the ends of the sliders better (including (1) of the next combo). Use grid level 4.

  1. 00:13:926 (7) - Hit sounds here would suit nicely. For the bass, maybe find a custom hit sound to fit, or use the drum sample set.
  2. 00:28:695 (8) - These notes are actually 1/6 notes, see EruJazz's Insane. But I guess you leave it to avoid complexity. Just pointing out that it's not the right timing.

  1. Nice.

Easy
  1. 00:45:310 (5) - I like this slider! :)

Overall, pretty nice map set. I must say that Hard, Normal & Easy are more enjoyable - not because they're easier than the Insane GDs, but because of hit sounds and intuitiveness regarding the beat, rather than solely to the instrumental. This is personal opinion of course. Each difficulty does have it's own merits. I would also like to see a hit sound for the bass drum, it would make this map even better :)

Overall, pretty nice map set. Hey~ m4m from my queue

Add 1 second of Audio Lead-in (Song Setup>Audio) so that the first note comes in two seconds after the time starts, which is what's required for rank

[Easy]
Keep slider velocity all the same! It helps immensely with patterning, and the difference at this low of an SV will not be noticed at all. Not to mention it's unrankable
I would recommend using tiny grid snap, so that you can perfect your patterning.


00:21:310 (1,3) - These two notes aren't perfectly symmetrical around (2). The best way to fix this is to copy (1), rotate it 180 (ctrl + . twice) and then ctrl + g. This way, the two sliders will be exactly the same.
00:25:003 (5,6,1) - The increased spacing here is a big no-no. Keep it all at 1.0
00:26:849 (1,3) - Overlapping is very highly discouraged in Easy difficulties. I would fix the spacing pointed out here^ and then remake this long slider so that it fits within the boundaries and spacing without overlap
00:31:003 (2,3,4) - These should be arranged like something similar to this so that they are much more symmetrical and keep good spacing
00:37:003 (3,1) - minor spacing issue
00:44:849 (4) - x:208 y:260 for spacing
00:49:464 (4,1) - minor spacing issue
01:07:926 (7,1,2) - The placement here could definitely improve, with a messy overlap and poor spacing.

From this point on, the varying slider speeds are a pretty large issue in my opinion. Please change these all to 1.0 and adjust the sliders and spacing accordingly, and then continue to find mods to improve patterning. (although, you can do a lot of what I suggested on your own with simply a critical look at your own map)

[Normal]
Again, changing slider speeds are stunting this map's improvement. Please keep them consistent

00:02:849 (5) - Rotate this clockwise 21 degrees (select and hit shift+ctrl+r) and then move to x:436 y:52, for clean spacing
00:04:233 (2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - Ok, I moved a lot of things around in this section. Here's the code for it, I think this is much cleaner.

From 00:47:157 - to 00:54:541 - it would be easiest on you to find one slider that looks really good ( I would recommend 00:52:695 (2) - ), copy it, and use that same slider for all of these, since they're the same general shape. Some are going in different directions, which is easily fixed with ctrl + . and ctrl + g
01:02:387 (3,4,5) - Tidy this up a bit, I would use the (5) slider for (4) (removing the repeat, of course), plus the spacing gets odd.

Actually pretty nice, the symmetrical patterning works for this kind of song, and most of the spacing is pretty apparent. I'm not a fan of the huge sv slowdown near the beginnning, but other than that good job

I could sit here and nazi your patterns all day, but it wouldn't provide you with anything constructive. That's something you can easily do on your own with grid snap and using the coordinates in the top right corner to help figure out (calculator!) where each note should be to keep it symmetrical. If you would like some help on how I approach symmetry like this feel free to ask me in game, and I'll point out a few things if I'm not busy. Remember, the slightly bolded white lines in the grid are the center axes. Those are what you work off of

00:12:080 (1,2,3,4,5) - I don't recommend these notes being hidden underneath the slider before them, I would try and find another pattern here to avoid that
00:14:157 (1) - This spinner is unrankable. It's too short. Please remove it
00:30:541 - As I stated earlier, I don't like how slow this part gets, especially since you keep using higher spacing. I understand that it would be a lot of work at this point to increase it, however I think that would be for the best. It can still be slow, say 0.8, it's just too low to be comfortable right now.
00:54:541 (1,2,3,4) - Make sure that the slider you copy paste from is level before you do!
01:07:580 (6) - These notes here are 1/3, not 1/4. Adjust your repeating slider accordingly, you can get to 1/3 with the Beat Snap Divisor bar in the upper right.

From this point on, the varying slider speeds are a pretty large issue in my opinion. (although, you can do a lot of what I suggested on your own with simply a critical look at your own map)

I gave you some examples of how to improve it so you can try something in base of them if you want. another thing that I noticed is that in hard diff there are quite always short sliders. try instead to change some times and make some longer sliders when the music permit it. in this way the map will have more different patterns and will be also funnyer to play :)

Didn't pass both Insane modes, but I enjoyed playing Muse's Insane more, since it's flow looked better. btw you can only have 1 Insane diff in a mapset.

01:01:926 - , 01:33:310 - , 01:41:157 - This kiai isn't really needed. It is too much and the main part already has kiai. It's a little abusive to have so much kiai for a short song.

Easy

- 00:21:310 (1,2) - Mentioning for the next time; the flow is bad here because the slider is curved and the next element is upwards, so you have to change the way your natrual movements go. This is especially important for new players so they can practice the clicking better at first and then focus on movments.

00:20:849 (4,1) - Almost 1,1x spacing when your spacing is 1,0x. Easy fix
00:21:310 (1,2,3) - You could blanket this better

Normal

00:03:772 (1) - Here is a spacing difference of 0,9 to the normal spacing, so you have 0,9 to much. Easy fix again.

- Comboing is random, you should recombo them (long or short combos).

You're absolutely right with the spacing. This was one of my first maps, so it has been improving over the mods. I made some corrections.

I have same opinion as above, but of course since is a Easy is more understanable. Also, I dont get why did you use same slider velocity for Easy and Normal, no wonder I felt both diff very similar.

Bueno, el inconveniente que le veo al easy, es que le das muy pocos respiros al jugador.
Los patrones 1/1 van todos seguidos por decenas de segundos... lo cual puede ser extenuante para un jugador novato. Lo que habría que hacer para mejorar este punto es dejar espacios consistentes de descanso entre los patrones. En ese orden, van estas sugerencias:
  1. 00:09:310 (2) - elimina ese circulo, y corre el slider de adelante. Rellenando el espacio que queda con un circulo.

    La razón detras de esto es que dos sliders de la misma logitud seguidos, son menos extenuantes de jugar. Además que va bien con la canción.
  2. 00:11:157 (5,1,2) - haciendo el cambio anterior, a estos deberías hacerles un flip horizontal (Ctrl+H), y hacer algo como esto: http://puu.sh/7f3K3.jpg http://puu.sh/7f3LT.jpg
  3. 00:18:541 (4) - el primer lugar donde se puede simplificar la cosa. Cambia el slider por un circulo. Le dará un descanso al jugador, y de nuevo, el espacio sin mapear no queda mal.
  4. 00:19:464 (1,2) - Sugiero que de verdad cambies estos dos por un slider. tantos circulo seguidos, y tan juntos, pueden ser dificiles de seguir.
  5. 00:25:464 (6,7) - estos podrias simplificarlos eliminando (6) y coriendo (7) a antes. No olvides poner los finish.
  6. 00:23:157 (3,4,5,6) - a todos estos deberías hacerles un flip vertical (Ctrl+J). Lo que pasa es que todos los patrones anteriores estuvieron en esa esquina del mapa... y al devolverte por el mismo lugar, aunque no sea dificil de leer, no es... mmm... ¿muy profesional?, algo así xD, el caso es que este patron podrías ponerlo como http://puu.sh/7f4rO.jpg, aunque te implicará algo más...
  7. 00:26:849 (1,2,3) - http://puu.sh/7f4vF.jpg

Este no tiene mayores inconvenientes. En el normal no hay que ser tan estricto con los descansos y eso, por lo que no hay mucho ritmo que corregir, solo unos detalles estéticos.
  1. 00:07:926 (5) - hay muchos sliders juntos, puedes convertir esto en dos circulos.

    Con eso no quedará nada aburrido ni monotono. y para un hard, es aceptable.

00:05:157 (2,3) - I recommend making sure the spacing between these two sliders roughly equals the spacing between the notes in the rest of the song. By that I mean the spacing between the bodies of the sliders (http://puu.sh/8I423.jpg). It makes a big difference towards the aesthetics of the map.

00:24:541 (3,4) - I suggest neatening the blanket spacing between these using the mid-point of the slider (http://puu.sh/8I47F.jpg).

00:39:772 (3,4) - Perhaps close the distance between these two notes as the spacing is inconsistent with the rest of the map.

01:01:926 (1,2) - Same with these two, consistency is very important.

01:08:387 (1,2,3) - To make this pattern cohesive and fit together whilst being consistent with the spacing in the map but ALSO to think about consistency of blanket spacing with the rest of the map, you have to be consistent in the spacing you use in the same pattern (http://puu.sh/8I4kR.jpg).

01:24:080 (3,4) - Again the spacing here needs to be closed a little to keep in check with the rest of the map.

01:26:387 (1,2) - And to a lesser extent, here.

01:28:695 (4,1) - For a cleaner blanket and consistent spacing, pull the mid point of slider 4 out a little to neaten the curve, but also pull the actual slider closer to slider 1 to keep in accordance with the distance spacing (http://puu.sh/8I4tz.jpg).

01:33:310 (1) - Stack this note on x:256 y:241 so that it is perfectly stacked with circle 2 in its position from the last combo.

01:44:387 (1,2,3) - I really feel like notes 2 and 3 should be in line with the tail of slider 1, it looks a lot neater.

00:13:464 (3,4) - If you are going to blanket like this, the curve of the slider must be consistent with the curve of the circle the whole way along the body of the slider. It is a good idea to use the approach circle as a guide to form your curve with (http://puu.sh/8I4UH.jpg).

00:19:464 (2,3) - The blanket between these notes could be evened out a little like so (http://puu.sh/8I53W.jpg). Try make it so the head and tail of each slider sits directly in between the head and tail of the opposite slider. Again you can use approach circles.

00:24:541 (4,6) - I recommend avoiding this overlap, perhaps make it so the tail of this slider stacks on the circle perfectly?

[Hard]

On a serious note, taking the principles from the mods you have seen on the easy and normal, I'm certain you can pick up some basic things to fix. The map in general is solid but missing some essential fundamentals such as consistent spacing throughout, neater aesthetics including making sure that objects you have blanketed are blanketed evenly.

The flow is excellent with this map, but you have to try and make sure that the sliders and circles cohere with each other as much as you can. What I mean by cohere is like when you have a puzzle and all the pieces fit together perfectly.

I recommend a slider velocity of 1.8-2.0 which goes well in accordance to the spacing you use. It is important to see from a players perspective the average cursor speed throughout the map which stems from the slider velocity and distance of jumps. The player doesn't want to constantly slow down his cursor for sliders and speed up for jumps, this all counts towards the flow of a map.

I'm impressed by this map set, unique style and very inventive, just need to iron out the creases and make sure the fundamentals are in place. Go over all the maps after you have implemented my mods and see for yourself what you really think you can even out.

Remember: you are more likely to have success with a BAT if you KNOW you are confident that everything in your map is worth a 9+ user rating. If you love the map and everyone you have asked to testplay loves it, you are going to be more successful than if you hadn't bothered to iron out basic creases.

Finally I feel that the hard needs the most work in terms of ironing out these creases. Do this, then personally ask me for a re-check via inbox or in-game pm. Thanks and GOOD LUCK!

When we created the mapset, there was another insane, which after a few months decided to remove, because the Maper had no time to be applying their mods (MuseCaliope).
The map itself had the SV 2.0. My insane was insanely easy and fun to play.
For that reason it is slower, and the circles are smaller.

He does give some good points though. the triplets are extremely awkward and annoying to tap out, if you play any interments, you may also relate to how annoying triplets are to play.
It's all up to you but i personally would not place a bunch of triplets as circles, rather, i would keep the polarity good and use sliders or something

because: 1) are secction easy of read (except to DT, but... Respect triples... I've always thought that the mapping is a matter of how each person feels the music. For many people doing triple is annoying, but to me, are very easy and addictive. It is possible that many can be changed by sliders, yes, but that would change the way I feel music.

But I almost didn't find any problems in either of them.

Check out AiMod (Ctrl+Shift+A). According to it, your distance snap isn't correct; usually distance snap must always be activated in Easy and Normal diffs, but I'm fine with it.

Kiai time differs from the Normal and Hard diff; also put in kiai time from this point: 00:53:618 to this point: 00:54:541.

I didn't spot any other problems with this diff.

The AIMod is very good when we are talking in Easy and Normal, but when we are talking hard or above it, the AIMod become some bit useful, because the AIMod limited at the mapper.
