Well, I think I’ll have to choose between manually typing the names of the countries or figuring out how to make the code identify the borders of other countries (to find a space available to put the name of smaller countries, without touching the border of other countries), which seems like it's not a very common problem, and I don't know how hard it is (although it should be solvable, it will take a while).

just do it the way corne did, load up a image editing program and get at it, or look up a website to create custom maps, like this one, that took 5 second of googling to find https://www.mapchart.net/detworld.html. You can't look at everything from the lens of AI and code manBehrauder wrote:
