I rarely go above 55% of RAM on Linux with KDE Plasma... and only have 16 GB. Imo 64 GB isn't really useful unless you have a very specific usecase that would require that much...z0z wrote:

Mine is an HP Laptop 17-cn0023dx with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 11th Gen, with Intel Graphics Xe, and 32 GB of RAM (it originally had 16), and before you ask, I use Arch btw (so you don't classify me as Windows user)

not a problem for me, I dont do many things that are at all gpu heavy anyway - which is why I never bought a new one. the jet engine my gpu turns into during the occasional handbrake render is funny though.

fortunately i've managed to save all my files using a really weird and probably-very-convoluted method. replaced it with a crucial P3 Plus SSD 1TB PCIe (so far so good)
i've also replaced my keyboard because some keys were starting to not press/not get detected. got the Logitech G413 SE since i've heard very good things about it (and i'm really enjoying it so far)
