there was a time when we could get users out of the exiled status if 5 people vouched for them. this would cause them to be unexiled, but if they got exiled again after that, all the other 5 people who vouched would be exiled as well

those were strange times. i remember vouching for someone (someone who wasn't even that important to me), but i don't recall who, and i'm sure ephemeral has forgotten all about it. needless to say, they started behaving after that
