Taking inspiration from other stuff is good but let's try to do something original and not just copy paste something that already exists by just changing the setting. I'd suggest not relying too much on a single source for inspiration but rather trying to mix up different things you like while coming up with as much original stuff as possible.
Also if you don't want to write every week you can write a bunch of chapters in advance and only submit them one by one. Potential changes may be required to already written chapters but nothing major I think and it's easier to write something good when there's no pressure.Patatitta wrote:

also, the most logical thing would be that the nearest and the farthest planets from the sun are uninhabitable due to their nature (which is exactly what you did with "planet 1")

- planet 8 is a frozen wasteland
