I play dolls frontline occasionally. The story is good, characters are good, the gacha elements are pretty mild. Would still not recommend it, all gacha games are addictive and not for a good reason.
arent those games more on Role Playing? prob does not count since its more on Pay 2 get more character customizations like Roblox.lostsilver wrote:
do gacha club and gacha life 2 count?
they're character creators, but you get gems to get more characters
so idk if that would count
Now thats the cooler gacha, albeit your prob gonna spend more money trying to collect the pokemon or yu gi oh cards you want oof.eblf2013 wrote:

Yes i agree its a choice and the other free games can be nice, the thing is its a different genre compared to those other free games, so some might enjoy CSGO more and spend more time in it, but others might not like and want just a singleplayer rpg like Genshin.
Emulating is nice, but i guess the con is that you can only play old games, and man i barely use the Epic games store, only just play Fortnite there and just deleted it once i was done with the game, other subscription service like PS Plus and Xbox game pass offer lots of nice games for free, but it cost monthly.
I agree. Fuck GD lmaoHydreigon wrote:
better than other sub forums
yeah, no, those are really rare and also really hard to fix usually iircMy Angel Anaxii wrote:
well theyre quite outdated to use it for everyday stuff but i would keep them for nostalgia sake if im honest. very old computers for example from the 70s is honestly not for me.
I wouldn't really use them either often either. Rather, I would keep them for history sake.Hydreigon wrote:
I think for most people, they would definitely move on to the more modern hardware as it offers better stuff and removes the hassle of repairing the hardware.
But for the more dedicated, like collectors, they would definitely keep them and try to repair them, as its there hobby and they like old hardware (Think this answer can sorta apply to other stuff as well)
Well I was talking about more computers like the Commodore 64, the Amiga, super old Macintosh computers, etc, things with historical value, not really things that are 5-10 years old. Though your reply gave me an idea for another question, so thank you!Nanofranne wrote:
Of course. While Apple and other similar companies in vein are going crazy for their anti-repair and profiteering stance, older hardware still have its place. It may not be the fastest and the most efficient, but hey it works! if it broke, there's good chance someone I know can fix it and keep it running again
When I think of tech product, I already consider 5 years or more to be old because tech moves crazy fast. Not to mention the general trend of consoomerism that people replace their phone like within two years. But yeah, anything that old still have its value amongst hobbyist, a good thing!Winnyace wrote:

How would you define/describe Off-Topic?My answerI'm personally kind of unsure how I would define/describe OT. I see it as a shitposting sub-forum mainly, but really anything goes here. There aren't any strict rules here about content, so people just do whatever, so I guess it would be more accurate to say that it is a sub-forum of random topics and most happen to be shitposts.
nah forums and image boards are very differentKatouMegumi wrote:

Right to not repair is one of the worst forms of greed. Also, it would be one of the highest forms of hipocrisy if a company states that they're ecological/sustainable while making their products impossible to repair. I don't buy that badly made greenwashing.

What's your opinion on post farming? My answerTBH, I'm kinda off indifferent towards it. It annoys me, especially when I scroll through GD, but to some degree, I don't know if other forums weren't/aren't similarly "spammed" with replies.

as a former post farmer, I didn't really think much about postfarming. I just focused on quantity and not on quality. I eventually stopped postfarming as soon when I noticed that subforums stopped getting new responses and thought that postfarming just ruins the forums altogether. Not only that, but I also have seen others ranting about it, which made me change my mind about postfarming. Nowadays, I just post when I feel like it

What do you do when you can't sleep? My answerI just try to sit down and relax. Eventually, I fall asleep. This time it didn't work, though, so that's how I got the inspiration for this question.
