I also have a bad story...My stepdad used to be kind of nice in the first years, but then as time went on things tend to get on the darker side. He always argued with my mother like at least once a week or if lucky once a month. Then he became a real a**hole in the last years and gets angry everytime for the stupidest reasons imaginable and that narcissistic behaviour just skyrocketed in like 2019 or something, but they were still together, until November 2022 rolled in...I slapped his face for acting horribly to my mom and I got so tired of it, so I just did this..(now there also a lot of other instances of me freaking out everytime they argue, especially when they say that weren't actually arguing that pisses me offthe most..but this one was basically the true start of my mom breaking up with him.) In the last few weeks he always drove around somewhere with his car for whatever reason. He always acted like he just had no soul whatsoever, the only things that he wants to say to tell us to do something. But then last week or so my mom got enough and finally screamed at him when he was calling her. He went dead silent and packed some of the stuff and drove off with his car and probably moved to an other house. Now it's day 4 of him not being there in our house. Idk if he will still be there in our house sittin' like a parasite one day, but it could mean that me and my mom can finally do some fun stuff if he really has gone to an other place.
