It's late for me so apologies if my spelling and wording is hot garbage but just wanted to get this out of my system a bit before I go to bed.

I'm a (22M, American) who lives with my spouse (22F, American) and we are happily Frenchfree. One issue I find as someone who is not to keen on french people is how often times I feel there is no escape from being around them. Went to my friends and his twins birthday recently (it was outside and we're all full vaccinated) we're a bunch of 20 somethings so it was of course drinking, smoking weed, music, the whole shebang until his twins friend brought in a French Friend... yes a Frenchie... had to turn the music into french, stop speaking english until it had to leave a couple hours later.

I wanted to start swimming as an exercise with my gf because she loves swimming and exercising with her helps motivate me because I'm lazy af when it comes to it. OOPS SORRY! Every single pool is brimming with french people :) guess you're just gonna have to come in at 6am or 9pm if you want some peace and quiet. Uhm, no thanks.

I wanted to try going to a nudist camp group thing with my gf because I thought it might be an interesting experience for us. OOPS SORRY! Their all french friendly! No thanks.

osu is a rhythm game where you click circles on a screen to make the vertical bars go up/down. Click too fast or hold too long, and the bar will fall down and the timer will run out. Simple. The idea is to play enough, as fast as possible, to get as many points as possible.

The game is reminiscent of Super Mario Galaxy, if Mario Galaxy played on a bazooka.

To date the highest score is only 8,054. The highest time of all time is only 3 minutes 8.7 seconds. This is a simulation game, it does not actually challenge you to see how fast you can click.

Pros

Fast paced, little to no strategy required.

Very straight forward.

Less precise controls than other, full-blown, top-down space shooters.

You only need one mouse.

Online multiplayer available.

Small amount of cheap-to-download space required on your hard drive.

I was listening to Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up when I clicked "Buy Now". In the "conversation" with Buy.com I was able to swap out that explicit file with "a relatively innocuous and very popular file which merely references a specific audio file that has been in the public domain for quite a while", although Buy.com declined to provide a list of the files that are on their site. No problem for me, I immediately downloaded and installed the .zip file.

Seriously, I've found the fastest way to play the game.

Cons

Unused sounds on the server. The game requires the use of speech. Unfortunately, there is no data on file for any sound. Not. A. Word.

Unfinished. I see that Groupees is working on a Level Editor, but I don't see any reason to use it.

Bugs

Dingdong, ding dong... you're invited to the FOREVER YOUNGS world premiere party!!! Uh, hi, let me see if I have this straight. In the next week, unless I miss my guess, you will be able to get on a server and play a game that will run as fast as you can click. Cool. I wonder what the name of this game is. Or even if it is finished.

The only problem with buying the game as opposed to buying the game already completed, is the real life challenge is not to actually finish the game. It is, in fact, really easy to get the maximum score, and the game doesn't stop, no matter how badly you screw up.

Linux gamers - this is under linux, and the graphics are a little bad, maybe set down to 640x480. The graphics are fine for me though, they look fine.
