  1. Beat alignment: How good you are at judging whether the metronome is on beat
  2. Mistuning perception: How good you are at judging whether a singing voice is off-tune
  3. Melodic discrimination: How good you are at judging which notes are different

101, sits exactly on the middle lol
the 3 subcategories are 110 98 96
the beat is slightly better probably because of osu lol
but the other two i really got lucky of guessing randomly, many of them just don't sounds different at all

i think i did pretty well considering i can't play any instruments nor know any music theory (i used to play guitar, now i suck at it).

about what I'd expect considering I played tuba for a bit over 9 years.
I think the mistuning perception being so behind the others is because I've been out of practice for so long and haven't given that much thought to it in a while.

my memory is the main issue I had though, straight up forgot what I'd just heard at some points lmao.

I took this back in 2020, played piano for about 10ish years on and off. Perhaps I could have gotten a better score if I didn't take it at 2:30am. Pretty cool testing site nonetheless.(sorry in advance for the photo size)

Pretty interesting. I think the reason I scored somewhat above average is that I played classical music for like 12 years during school. I was pretty horrible though, because I barely practiced, just showed up to band and orchestra rehearsals. Now I just listen to Jpop/VGM and play osu! lmao.

oh nice I did this test couple years ago and I'm still really salty for the couple ones I got wrong
I would say I didn't do badly though

iq 126

EDIT: skimming through the comments here, looks like the people that tend to get high scores tend to also have years of experience with music (often classical from the looks of it). Not to draw any conclusions without proper proofs and data and all that, but I think it's safe to say that these skills are more or less trainable, and extensive experience with music will generally lead to better results
