Hi Nyukai, m4m here as discussed earlier :3
(here's my map btw : http://osu.ppy.sh/s/648127)
[Basic]
Best of luck with the mapset, I hope this mod helps~
I'm really sorry for being quite late beforehand by the way >_<
(here's my map btw : http://osu.ppy.sh/s/648127)
[Basic]
- 00:18:402 (7) - Add whistle on slider's end as well to accentuate the high-pitched vocals?
- 00:32:471 (6) - Remove whistle on slider's end? Contrary to the above, there are nothing strong enough to be emphasized on that point, so removing the whistle there would actually greatly emphasize your next 00:33:299 (1)'s whistle hehe xD
- 00:49:851 (3) - A small suggestion here, perhaps use this slider shape instead to deliver a greater (and less rigid) flow from your previous 00:48:196 (2) while maintaining the linear shape you're using here?
- 00:57:713 (5,6) - This is merely a personal thought, but in my opinion rather than forcing the symmetry before the long break here (which results in a visibly uneven triangle) I think it would be much better to arrange them in a pattern that allows it to flow around more naturally - like this for example :
- 01:06:816 (4) - Remove whistle here? There's nothing from the song that fits the whistle here...
- 01:31:230 (5,7) - I think the flow would be much greater here if both slider are placed a bit more upward and then reshaped so that (5,7) holds a higher stance compared to your (4) and (6) here :
- 02:10:954 (5,7) - Same as above
- 02:43:230 (3) - A small suggestion here, rather than forcing a tilted slider perhaps I think it would be better if you used two circles here instead as it fits your symmetry trend very much while also flows good to your next slider :
- 02:46:954 (7,1) - Similar to 00:57:713 (5,6) here, I think rather than forcing the (1) to be located on ~y:192 (which results in an abruptly angled arc here) I think it would be best if you arrange them in a way they flow more naturally, for example :
- 02:47:368 (1,2,3,4) - ...in which you can then directly follow with a pattern like this for the ending ((4) is being stacked with your previous (6)'s end, by the way) :
- Since the difficulty name is set to "Advanced" instead of "Normal" I think it would be acceptable to add some (slight) jumps in case you see it fits (instead of fully following the spacing here) hehe xD
- 00:10:127 (1.3) - This is simply a personal opinion, but I think these slider's angles are very much too sharp so that (for me) it doesn't carry out the flow/transition well from your previous (5). You can though, for example, use a slider shape less sharp here while still keeping your linear shape at this point for better flow :
- 00:13:437 (1) - Remove whistle on slider's end here? (you previously don't put on a whistle on 00:07:230 (2))
- 00:29:161 (5,6,1,2) - Perhaps rearrange these four so that (1) would be perfectly centered? (I don't know whether this is intentional or not, though xD)
- 00:31:644 (3,4) - I personally think that the flow would be greatly improved here if (4) is placed in a somewhat higher position compared to (3), for example :
- 00:48:609 (4) - Add circle here (stacked atop of the slider) and move the slider 1/2 after to let the vocals be fully represented here? (you shouldn't worry about the spacing between the slider and the next (1) too much though, because - as I stated earlier - the small jump should be something very acceptable for "Advanced" diff~)
- This very much applies as well to the similar parts like this :
- ---
- 00:51:920 (4) -
- 01:43:230 (4) -
- 01:46:540 (4) -
- 02:26:264 (4) -
- 02:22:954 (4) -
- 01:14:264 (4) - Small suggestion here, perhaps curve this downward instead so that this slider will somewhat be blanketed by the previous (3)?
- 01:39:506 (3,5) - Hmm, is it intentional to put the (3) in ~x:316 but the (5) in ~x:308 (considering that in my .osu the (4) and (1) is placed in the same x-coordinate)? o.o
- 01:41:161 (1) - This is very much minor stuff, but considering that Taka's voice was beginning to change pitch on 01:41:575 - I think it would be nice if the second red node on the slider is being placed there instead to perfectly represent the pitch change from the song (:
- 02:20:885 (1) - Same as above
- 02:38:678 (2,4) - A small suggestion here, perhaps try to put (2) and (4) inward towards the center instead? This allows the (4) to have a greater flow in conjunction to your next (1) imo :
- Perhaps reduce the stack leniency (to ~5) in order to make the objects which are 1/2 apart (such as 00:53:161 (1,3)) be perfectly stacked in-game? (this is nothing major by any way, but I think this would greatly enhance your symmetry style imo hehe)
- 00:05:782 - Add circle here (without any hitsound) stacked atop your next (1)? To be honest it sounds (and plays) a lot more natural following the vocals this way imo (as you already did on 00:13:230 (1,2))~
- 00:13:437 (2) - Remove whistle on slider's end? Previously you don't have it there on 00:06:816 (3) o.o
- 00:15:920 (6,7) - Minor stuff, but these should be on ~x:336 y:73 to make (7)'s end be placed perfectly on the center of the playfield xD
- 00:37:437 (4) - A small thought here, perhaps you can arrange them somehow so that (4)'s end is symmetrical to 00:35:782 (7)'s end for better aesthetics? Like this for example :
- 00:41:989 (5,6,7) - Due to how the vocals sounded here I think it would be better to convert this into another 1/1 slider instead and then create another symmetry between your (3), (4), and (5) - like this for example :
- 00:44:885 (7,8,9) - Umm, why are these three being stacked awkwardly to your (1,2,3)? I think it would be much better if these three are moved up a bit so that they'll stack (1,2,3) perfectly though~
- 00:48:816 (7) - Add circle (preferably in ~x:35 y:146) to fill in for the vocals that you missed here (so that the map sounds and plays more naturally according to the song's rhythm)? Also
- 00:49:230 (9) - Consider adding whistle on slider's start here to emphasize the high-pitched vocals (:
- 00:52:540 (9) - Same as above
- 00:55:644 (5,6,7) - Same as 00:41:989 (5,6,7) here (this one's even more unfitting in my opinion as there's virtually no sound at all which occurs on the red tick) - perhaps arrange the rhythm and the symmetry like this so that it'll also flow well to your next (1,2,3)? (the (3) is stacked to your previous (9)'s end)
- 01:03:092 (5) - Shift the whistle on slider's start to (4)'s end instead in order to follow Taka's high-pitched vocals? (this applies to your upcoming similar parts as well hehe)
- 01:16:747 (6,1) - Hmm, is it intentional not to stack them properly here? Your current stacking feels awkward in-game imo ._.
- 01:20:264 (7) - Umm, actually if you listened closely to the song you can hear that the most significant part here actually comes on 01:20:471, so I think it would be much better if you turn this into a circle + 1/2 slider instead so that 01:20:471 can be much more emphasized by being a place where the player clicks to the beat - you can use this pattern for example :
- 01:28:747 (2,3) - Small suggestion here, perhaps swap (2) and (3)'s position so that the player keeps on moving here? (the stack on (1) -> (2) somewhat drops the player's momentum here imo, especially considering how the next (2) -> (3) is quite widely spaced)
- 01:34:540 (1,2,3,4) - Another small suggestion here - perhaps arrange them in so that one note is further than the previous one (accelerated spacing) to generate that build-up mood? For example :
- 01:50:678 - Add note (perhaps in ~x:212 y:116, symmetrical to (4)) to fill in for the drum beats? Personally I think the 3/2 delay between objects here are very much out of context compared to how the other parts were mapped with higher note intensity hehe xD
- 02:00:816 (1,2,3) - Consider putting this in a lower position compared to your previous (8) instead? I can see that you're aiming for a horizontal symmetry here, but due to how (1,2,3) is stacked the symmetry is very much broken/not appearing the way you want it to appear during gameplay. Perhaps try something like this instead. for example :
- 02:07:437 (6,7,1) - Minor suggestion here, but perhaps you can try manual-stacking these three for aesthetics :
- 02:14:264 (1,2,3,4) - Same as 01:34:540 (1,2,3,4) here about the accelerated spacing arrangement (:
- 02:20:471 (4,1) - Put these two lower? The logic here is that you've previously set up a jump on (7,8,1), so to follow the jump with an regularly spaced anti-jump here would very much unfitting and puts off the player's momentum >_<
- 02:34:540 (2) - A small suggestion here, perhaps shape this slider as following instead to make it parallel with your previous stream pattern while carrying out a better flow in regards to your next (3)?
- 02:44:058 (1) - Umm, why the repeating slider? I don't really hear anything audible from the song coming on the blue tick though, so I think it would be better to simply use two circles instead o.o
Best of luck with the mapset, I hope this mod helps~
