Items in Smite are really a problem sometimes. Like most phys have shit damage items. Nothing compared to Poly from magical dmg, just shitty Hydras Lament... Why is it crap: It has low scaling in % basing on base damage stats that are low on phys compared to magical. Like it's normal to have ~600 magical dmg as a mage, but as assassin/adc you normally have around 300 or less. So why is the scaling so bad? that you can easy overtake it with a normal crit? I have no clue...

I have to say: there are some good bruiser items.
Also, there isn't not enough flat pen. Whenever somebody gets some armor and hasn't got a heal, buy Titan's Bane. When he has a heal (let's say, Chaac) you build Brawlers Beatstick. Magical pen is also quite meh. I feel like they also have bad Magical Protection Items: Stone of Gaia is retarded and only good early game if you want sustain. Pestilence just counters heals, it's OK in the sololane. And theres another really expensive item for flat magical dev., but expensive with a crap passive.

Also, short said, for physical gods there are a handfull of crit items where only Rage is viable due to price and other effects on it. Then, Hearthseeker is compared to other high dmg stacking items the only good early game because of the highest damage, having the least stacks and beeing the least expensive. Also, you rarely see a 3 stacking build (devo gauntlets, Transcendence, Hearthseeker) which gives you insane damage and sustain. Just because you are often still stacking at the 30 min mark (also, soo expensive and risky) and it doesn't gives you any attack speed.

They need to remove or lower the defensive stats on the void items first of all or buff titans to 40-50%.

Remember when you could stack like 50 flat penetration with 3 items super early in the game? I miss that because anyone who came across an assassin alone would instantly die.

Could you guys give me something like a small overview about the game? Are there any "trash-tier" champions or items I should know of? Is it like in League of Legends that you mostly end up rushing one specific item build on every champion or is there a bigger variety of viable items to go for? Which champs go to which lane, how is the current meta?

To be honest, I havent been playing Smite that much the last few weeks but if I recall correctly it is pretty much the same as League of Legends. I remember there's a bit of variety though, at least more than in LoL.

Item builds are pretty straight forward. Honestly if you read up on the gods and items on their main site you will get a lot from that.
Smite is pretty easy mode to get into if you have played League previously.

Super Trash Tier: Loki, Arachne
Imo they are so bad, the pros troll with them and hover over them in tourneys just to get a laugh...

Bastet is kawaii, Scylla too, Tyr perfectly balanced, Vamana ain't OP, Nemesis the hardest and underpowered God, Zeus and Freya are the powerless mages and Ullr is useless due too his stun nerf. Also, Sun Wukong support is the hardest thing ever. Information according to HiRez if you consider Arachne the best jungler.

The normal meta is 1 champ does "toplane" which is in smite the sidelane with less distance between the towers (enemy and yours). The rest is pretty variable. You can do a 2 mid game and focus on farm and midharpies, or a double jungle meta and focus on farming the enemy jungle. Which only 2 mid is viable.

Anyone played the new siege mode yet? I just don't have the motivation to solo queue in Smite anymore.
I though that new Ah Muzen Cab skin was a new god in the smite preview. lol

Siege is boring and you get Premades sometimes. If a team gets an advantage early on, it is pretty much set in stone who will win. There are nearly no comebacks, lategame teamcomps are totally useless. It is balanced as bad as Joust 1v1...

The Ah Muzen skin is pretty cool, but the VP is crap. You can't understand a word, and it sounds weird. Same for Chang'e Valentines VP.

That alone makes me want to play it even more. Early game gods need to shine somewhere.

I've been playing league for 3+ years now ( And still do! ) and sometimes I'm playing smite too.
Just it's way more fun playing with familiar faces than all the randoms you get.
Although I'm not yet level 30 yet (25 at the moment of speaking).
I don't level is very important in the game. Since there isnt anything level related except for 500 favor per level.

It isn't that I don't like early game gods, I think jungle Arachne is really fun, since you can careless roam the enemy jungle. What I mean, they could just stop balancing when releasing modes that can't be balanced properly. As long as they don't make this mode competitive out of it, (cough joust) and people start to take it seriously I am happy with it.
The skin is amazing, the voicepack just no understandable in combat. I still use the skins everytime I play Chang'e or Ah Muzen because the skins are ^_^ --> "-".

What do you think about changing Fenrirs 2? Played him lately and realized that I never use the ability. I don't main him or have the biggest experience with him, so I want to ask you first... Maybe change it to a stun or mez, you could force beads and ult them afterwards or just attack them normally. That would maybe help him lategame too where brutalize falls a bit off and basic attacks get better.

I really don't see a problem with it as long as they do it right, otherwise those modes become less serious troll modes which makes people stop playing them all together. Honestly you really have no right to complain because similar games like League leaves things in a terrible spot both broken and underpowered for years (YEARS!!! I'm not joking about this). LOL. Smites balance has been spotty, but it's definitely been better than league has been the last couple of years.

Are they changing Fenrir??!! I still think he can be good if they just fix the damn bugs that kinda make him unplayable at certain points of the game. As for the 2 change I don't think giving a very mobile assassin 3 CC's is a good idea. Remember his 1 stuns at full rune stacks. If they did that I think they would have to shift him into more of a tank or warrior role while reducing his damage some. I would be fine with him being tankier because the big problem with Fenrir right now is that most of his abilities basically put him into a position to over commit to things. That's fine for an assassin because it gives clear counterplay but it really only benefits Fenrir if he is ahead of the enemy team, while when he is behind he is basically a split pusher or an ult bot that hopes they don't have beads available.

Lets take a look at his kit.

Passive -

I think it's perfectly fine how it is. All of his abilities are good without this effect already for the most part.


Unchained -1

This is a great ability for the early game, but it ends up transitioning into an escape ability late game because of how dangerous it is to use in team fights (unless you are winning). Still a great ability for catching people for 1v1's or initiating things when you have a clear advantage. Fenrir 1 stun followed by HoG stun + ulti is kinda stupid if you can pull it off.

Seething Howl - 2

This ability is incredibly binary and I wouldn't mind seeing it removed or put into his passive some how, but they would have to make him more of a warrior if they do this because this is what helps assassin Fenrir in his 1v1's when things are on CD. I used to just stack lifesteal and be unkillable until they nerfed a lot of things. You used to very easily get over 100% + lifesteal with this ability and a couple of other items before they changed a lot of items. LOL

Brutalize - 3

Pretty much what Fenrir is known for is his 3 spam. Very strong ability that has you commit to targets due to the stick + tick mechanic. Very strong ability that has clear weaknesses. I think this ability is fine where it is just needs the damn bugs fixed.

Ragnarok - Ultimate

Same as his 3 ability. Very strong with clear weaknesses. If anything has too much counterplay + it's kinda buggy (STILL).

TL;DR His kit is essentially fine for an assassin just needs some bug fixes, but I would be fine with him being more of a Warrior as opposed to an assassin mostly due to how he has to commit in team fights while be super squishy even with tank items.

Just thinking his 2 could get some tweakes, the rest of his kit is totally fine. Tbh, building him max CDR lets you get past the beads CD. The bug on his ult lets me look like a noob q.q
But they exist since his release right? just hoping it gets fixed. Main reason I don't play him more often. And nobody knows what HiRez does sometimes, but next patch should have many changes balance wise. Also, new Apollo skin is kind of awesome :D

The 3 bug is recent as in a couple months old. Main reason why I stopped playing Smite for the time being because it's really frustrating to deal with this. I've lost games because of this bug.

Ulti bug has been around for awhile. It was fixed for the longest time and then it came back worse than before after they made his Christmas skin.

After they fix his bugs (if) he might be decent. After that if he is still having trouble they should look into removing some of the enormous amount of counterplay on his ulti. It's not just beads that is his problem.

I haven't read the notes yet, all I saw when I launched the game was double favor and gems on first wins, that was all I needed to want to play a bit more this weekend haha.

Something needed to be done about Warriors. They pretty much made Guardians a useless role while dealing a boat load of damage. From what I read nothing was really overnerfed which is good. :).

It wasn't just the problem with damage, it was with CC. Look at Sun Wukongs kit, Stun, Knockup and safe poke. Also a get-out-of-jail for free card. Odin with a slow on his 3 and high basedmg, an ult that fits for the mostpicked mages ultis (Poseidon and Zeus). Finally Nemesis got a bit more useless considering they lowered protections and health + nerfed retribution a few patches ago. The Patchnotes made me happy.


There where people shouting that Fenrir comes back into competitive play and so on since andinster picked him 2 weeks ago. It more looked like he got outpicked and banned :( Even though Thanatos wasn't banned, the pick wouldn't be favorable because Odin ring, in generall Bastet mobility would stomp most of the open junglers. I guess Athena would have worked well, but idk with what he's comfortable. Also, the Teamcomp of Dignitas was just awesome with Odin, they were able to do so much with him. Pos Odin is disgusting, but Cupid, Hades AND Bastet added is even more scary.

Alright, ran into a new problem last night.

What is the best way to deal with Tyr on assassin Gods? I found that anytime he decided I was the one to die, by the time he was finished his combo juggle nonsense, I was at like 30% hp... Do beads prevent the knock up of his attacks? I got absolutely destroyed by him on Arachne, but she has no mobility so I'm not too surprised there, but I also got picked off quite easily on Bastet and Kali as well. Am I just bad? o.o

That's what I mean. Warriors are pretty much Guardians with Assassin tier Damage. Guardians are supposed to have a lot of disruptions through CC, but deal little to no damage while doing that. The changes in the next patch will force Warriors to choose damage or tankyness. They can't really have both anymore.

No reason to pick Fenrir when Warriors are how they currently are. What does Fenrir bring that they don't? After the nerfs to warriors and bug fixes I think Fenrir will be in a good spot.

Yeah, when I saw you in the lane, I knew something went terribly wrong at the God selection. I was being yelled at by Vulcan all game for not killing Ra enough, but it all worked out for us. Sorry about your loss =(.

Yeah it's really bad. So much afking and people who give up after they die once. MOBA's in general need to punish leaving games harsher than they currently do. I can't think of any ways off my head but surely there is a solution.

I really like the prisoner island type queue Dota 2 has or if someone is AFK long enough you can just leave with no penalty.
Last I heard you can't play ranked games if you fall under 50% goodwill, but they could have changed that by now. Ranked is more serious though and it would be nice if they had something similar in the normals like a special queue type you have to play a certain amount of games to get out of. Of course the amount of games would depend on how often you rage quit so people who have a random disconnect won't get punished too harshly if at all.

I have 30 DCs :/ no ragequits, 5 come from dodges in grab bag when getting an ADC (like, I get them all the time). Better for my team, actually. The other ones are crashes. HiRez report and support is a joke.
Had an Arachne today in Joust 3v3 that bought teleport to gods and meditation. Like PLEA GET ME OUT. Med ain't that bad (eye is bader lol), but it's like picking Hades Support when Wukong/Odin is open.

Also, Assault: reroll, got Kali. Yesh carry time, enemy Ares and Scylla get 4 kills before 2 min mark <.< Like some of my teammates didn't get over level 8 at the 10 min mark. Tyr is extremly annoying for Arachne, Bastet and Kali Since they have no form of CC immunity or will it have removed = Tyr can play volleyball with his fearless + cleave. Bakasura has way better potential to deal with Tyr, since he just cuts his Fearless Volley shit if u Beads and ult afterwards.
Tyrs Kit is 75% CC, the only part not doing CC is his 3 which gives him buffs and lets him apply even more CC. His passive gets especially stupid vs Mercury since you can't knock him up properly. He's OP in every gamestage. Just pray everytime he isn't in the enemy team.

Also PSA for Kali: get beads and/or magis blessing. Sprint isn't that important.

In joust I can understand why teleport to gods is bad, but in conquest it can be really good with certain comps. You can argue that you can ward properly, but that doesn't always happen well in solo queue.

They really need to lower the cost of the TP to gods item though. CD is justified for what it does. :)

Nu Wa lategame with teleport to gods/wards is just a pain: She can solo a phoenix really fast with minions + poly + towerdamaging abilitys and basic attack buffs and gets out really fast/can't be spottet by wards because of her "stealth".

I've won so many games from split pushing it isn't even funny anymore. My team gets so mad at me when I do it too, but they don't realize Fenrir is pretty much worthless in team fights if people are smart enough to buy beads.

Often instead of just backing off from our towers they send someone solo to defend against me and more than half the time it's one of their mages that I just one shot and continue to take towers or a pheonix. If they send a Warrior or a Guardian I just teleport to someone and force a fight. It's a pretty dumb strat to be honest. It works in League and Dota as well.

Global presence will always 100% be effective in these type of games. With that said I almost always run TP on Fenrir since he doesn't really need blink or sprint every game seeing as he has 3 escapes 2 of which are on a very short CD if you get CDR.

Adapting split pushing into Smite is wise. I find it strange that a lot of players prefer killing heroes over completing objectives, in any moba. I haven't watched a pro Smite match, but in dota2, the killcount is very low for the majority of matches these days. The players are so focused on objectives that big team fights are less preferable.

I think a lot of the new players (and low skilled) treat the game like a pvp arena where you just mindless kill each other over and over. It can work sometimes, but it will eventually get to the point people will just outplay you with objectives and get an exp and gold advantage.

Hm. I just read the patch notes they just added, and can say I'm quite pleased with them. Since I play mostly assassin role, I feel my impact in the mid-late game will be more noticeable. Really glad to see that Tyr got some nerfs, along with warriors in general.

I wonder how Janus will play out. He seems extremely useful but I shudder at the idea of someone bad playing him and putting portals in the worst of spots.

People will just go back to guardians like Ares and Ymir who can be really problematic for Assassins with their great CC. Difference is you won't die to them, but you probably won't kill them either unless you are like super mega fed.

IDK how to counterbuild, but to counter Hide of the Nemean Lion you have to get lifesteal and pen right?
Tried it out and it worked (Passive: Reflects 20% of all basic attack damage back to the attacker as magical damage). It also gives 80 Phys protection... and is cheap :(

Below is the match, it worked. But I kinda always beaded her stun and stunned her back, which was effective because her buff from the 3 ran out.

And first master is Peyan, Joust league. 171 wins and 18 losses (how to have no life). Conquest hasn't got a master :/

Hide of the Nemean Lion is primarily used to counter physical attackers so yes life steal is the best option for you (the attacker) to counter the reflect damage. Health and MR help too.

Hide feels like the best counter as physical vs a physical basic attacker. Got it once as Freya in a 1v1, he got magical dev and the bonus damage from it got useless...
Still, this item is not balanced for joust league... like people litteraly rush it when I play Kali. But since the last changes lifesteal got way better compared to Rage, and Devos gloves are more affordable so Hide looses its purpose. It still is good due too 80 phys protections and 300 health or something like that...

That's still very cost effective for the stats it gives and for that price not even including the passive.
Honestly I think a lot of the tank items in this game are way too good which was why I was kinda surprised they nerfed almost all the penetration items.

Matchmaking is just gg, Smite is the 19th most played game for pc counted by raptr, no excuses with small playerbase. When I get matched against HalfDevil at 2 am, ok. But jousting against people with 500 more elo and 2 leagues above me is just pointless. Why did they even make Joust ranked q.q

I didn't even know there was a long/short lane until someone pointed it out when I was like level 10.

Bigger games like dota 2 and LoL's MM can be just as horrid. Going to have to just deal with it.

I understand that MM is hard with 5 players per team. But in a 1v1... and since you can see the elo on player profiles and you see 2.4k elo and 400 wins at some of my opponents :/

Why is high mobility stuff so much fun? played a lot of Athena, Mercury and Neith lately. Athena solo is so much fun, you can ult the mid always when midharpies are up and get free exp without loosing exp in lane :D Also won a 3v1 with Neith because weave triple stun and under leveled enemy support and jungler. Agni is also quite fun. Almost got the 1000 games mark :D Played too much lately

There will be a new Xbalanque skin, with a recolor included (kinda like Redstar and Winter Olympian). Even if I don't like football, the ultimate is awesome! I played a game that was a 4v5 and all the people on the enemy team was level 30 while everyone on my team was in a range from 5-24. Game somehow went to 65 minutes probably because they couldn't push against our comp (we had 3 mages, an assassin and a hunter). Enemy team threw because we caught 3 of them in a very bad position and killed them and pushed an won since they had like an 80 second death timer. LOL

In the end we didn't deserve to win that game because everyone was raging at each other, but apparently the Fenrir on the other team was pretty freakin toxic as well but w/e.

I dont' have pay pal :x haha that would have been nice^^ i don't play zeus anyway and my actually played steam game is only civ 5. The Skin sales are damn cool, and Ra murica is kinda awesome. It even was on the /r/gaming frontpage a time. They could do so much with a vp for this skin. The next god looks like a damn awesome hunter (Rama).

Well... Matchmaking OP. They said they'll look over the queues and change matchmaking. Idk why they removed elo from the profile pages or the order in ranked, but according to HiRez employees they look over the issues... But in ranked, it's sometimes on purpose that you get matched with higher tiers. You'll get a ninja promotion after according to your skilllevel (Got ninja promoted from Bronze to Gold 1, dafuq). At least I don't have to stomp Sprint Meditation players anymore...

But sometimes I feed my brain out... because reasons. And chase Lokis in Joust while my titan is attacked by fire minions. It isn't on purpose and doesn't depend on my enemies. Or loose solo lane vs Arachne. RIP Stats. My Scoreboard is either Red or Green, nothing between.

I never had this problem, except forgetting HoG3 as support lol. Mine is more like getting them to early. This is bad if you realize later that another one is more important or would fit more. And the skins... what will happen with my spare gems q.q Now they just need to buff Arachne and give Chang'e something other in her kit then an ultimate.

There has been a few games where I left the HoG at rank 2 because of the CD difference which is huge for split pushing. I split push a lot in this game. I only really get WoG if FG and Fury are heavily contested which isn't often in my games.

My second active is always something depending how the game is. I really like protected recall and shielded teleport when I split push. I really like Aegis amulet because I can initiate fights with that because people immediately blow their CC on you when you jump into them and Fenrir is way too squishy (even with tank items) to build beads for the same effect warriors get.

I haven't given Aegis enough of a chance, but then again I rarely play Fenrir.

I've been playing a lot of Arachne currently despite her feeling like a meh God to pick overall. How do you guys think they should buff her to improve her? Or is she fine the way she is?

I still have nightmares playing against the old OP Arachne jungle so I really don't want that god to be good again. I think her kit is too stupid to just change numbers and call it a day. I wouldn't mind seeing a majority of her kit remade, but thats just me and I know Arachne fans wouldn't want that. I mean I would be super upset if they reworked Fenrir even though his main issue is just CC and beads being broken as fuck.

Beads Aegis are the 2 hard hard counters to loki, imo beads is already enough. Also, if you face a Freya and her ult bothers you, get the walking aegis thing and she can't harm you.
I kinda hope they rework arachne into a guardian or something. Even if her damage numbers would be doubled, her ganks are extremly weak, even weaker if there are wards and if a jungler can't gank it's pointless. And she has to "Siege up" with eggs and stuff before she can gank so she gets predictable. Her clear is amazing though and the early game 1v1 boxing potential too. Siege is better for her, the corners that you simply don't ward are her home. That new item... I love it for 1v1 vs mages. CDR, Power and protection. Finally a good item giving sustain that is suited for assassins.

Picked up some level 10 players that wrote me a PM on reddit. It is somehow funny to look how much they concentrate to use the vgs, or how they always think a few times if they should attack when I stun someone. Told them about beads and how to counter certain gods, it's quite fun and they are way better then me back then.

I still don't know how to use the vgs properly. Why can't I set it to my own macro's first of all? Would make my life so much easier if I could bind some of them to different keys.

Why did they remove the auto skill level feature? Not every god has situational level up spells or wants to abuse the level skip at 4 and 8.

That new stacking item Ancile is really good. Combo it with other stacking items like Devourer's gloves and it's pretty dumb at full stacks.

Hmmmm, alright, this has happened enough times to merit me asking about it.

Do they plan on implementing a type of backdoor protection or am I just dealing with this all wrong? I was having some games last night and to my frustration, I was matched against the same Nu Wa player 3 times. Every single time she would just focus on backdooring towers with her little army dudes when our creeps were way up the lane and we were elsewhere, by the time we'd react she would retreat, and even if she did die, the damage was done and it was well worth her trip. Inevitably she would just backdoor our phoenix and we'd just lose in a miserable manner.

I guess my question is, what is the best way to deal with this (imo) ridiculous playstyle?

In dota2, towers heal if none of your creeps have hit it and you try to backdoor it, I wonder if something like that will ever see the light of day in Smite. I'm ok with someone running up and popping a tower that is sitting at 1% hp, or if 3-5 farmed players overpower the backdoor healing, but to backdoor from full to zero in a matter of 2'ish trips seems way too beneficial. It really killed my desire to continue playing when i saw it.

ETA: I guess I should state that I was playing Arachne in both games, and since they had an Ares in their lineup i had HoG + beads as my actives, so quick travel to towers wasn't possible to me.

I think Au Kuang ult need to be a bit nerfed . 1 ult , 4 kills . At 420 ap , over 1000 damage at lvl 2 in ult i think.

Nu Wa split pushing is next level retarded because she doesn't need minions to take things. What they can do to fix this is have the soldiers deal no damage to structures and have turrets prioritize Nu Wa over them.

Ao Kuang has always been ridiculously strong. His ratios are fine I just think he is bugged in a lot of ways. He can ult in the middle of CC and it's really dumb he is allowed to do that.

I loathe Ao Kuang. His tornados, his ult, everything. When I use my 3 on him "wow let's press 4 cuz god hard" and i die. The worst thing with CC immunity is Tyr, his passive, his 1 not being able to be CCd in and his ult that is a bit leap with CC immunity. PLEA STAHP.
And to Nu Wa... Attack when you killed her. Only thing to get out of her ridiculous ability taking phoenixes lategame... She isn't the only one able to do this, count Mercury, Bakasura, Apollo and Bastet to the most annoying split pushers too :/ Wards and killing them is the only way to take out an active split pusher.

Ao Kuang could probably use a slight nerf on his 3 for how safe it makes his laning and how the damage is. It's hard to avoid when you try to fight him. I don't think the CC immunity on his ulti is intentional because if it is then they most definitely should nerf the damage.

I still think they need to add backdoor protections to this game. I'll work on my wards and killing split pushers and all that, but I still want to see either towers heal or god minions unable to tank towers.

Also, am I the only one who thinks Geb ult is really bad? Seriously have never seen it turn the tide of a battle. Or am I just an idiot?

Gebs ult is a teamfight ult. Most people suck at Geb since they just spam abilitys, he's a pretty good support if you can calculate when to use your CC and when not. His shield is what makes him good though.

Played vs this guy before as Mercury, he play like a cheesy idiot. He wards and waits to gank you when you do buffs and if he succeeds he can just snowball around and kill you since this is where Loki shines... ( I didn't sell Hearthseeker since it gives me power even without stacks and stacking in Joust isn't a problem..)

Mercury and Osiris, since both work better with Bloodforge and Mercurys passive + his need for mov speed, Joust 1v1 mostly. Normally under ADCs people win with devos gloves since they give sustain.

And WingsOfDeathx I like them in this order: Nemesis, Poseidon, Ares, then Zeus. They are all quite different.

God specific I can see. How does mercury's passive work? Is it based off the percentage or the flat movement from items? Hope it's the flat movement because that would be a very bad passive if it isn't.

Fenrir with a fully stacked devourer's Glove + fully runed 2 at max rank is almost 80% lifesteal. Pretty much can 1v1 anyone unless they burst you.

I'm glad I bought the god pack back when it was like 10 bucks. I pretty much only play Fenrir so idk if I would buy it at $30. lol

I'll have to say, Mercurys passive doesn't calculate with his base movement speed. But still it's great since you build speed anyway...

Let's say, you don't get tons of damage from it, but the chunk you get is often notable (I remember having about 38 most games). Same reason to pick up Golden Bow on Merc: His 1 is a basic attack, helps him clear, free mov speed. IMO, as long as you don't play solo or in joust, it won't be useful, but it helps clear waves a lot. Max rank Made you look can clear a normal minion wave with it in seconds. But on ever other god, Golden Bow is useless and has just way to bad stats... I often sell it for Titan's Bane or a protection item lategame.

And Bloodforge for gods with incredible fast or just great attack chains for the BF passive (Osiris, Mercury with his 2 giving 70% attack speed, Kali...)

I meant off the % of the item. For example 25% of 8% (heartseeker) is 2 attack.

I went in game to test this because I was very curious how this mechanic worked. It goes off the base movespeed the item gives. With no other movespeed items or abilities in play heartseeker gives mercury about 30 movespeed which is 7.5 attack.

The distant part of the passive is already incredibly strong this part of it makes it even more ridiculous. lol

I don't think the map is the problem. I've only played like 3 games on that map and the first thing I noticed and possibly a big reason I hate that game mode is that it's extremely stagnant. Basically whoever fucks up first loses or is put at a pretty big disadvantage. Which is fine, but it's pretty dang hard to come back from. Talking from a 3v3 perspective.

You still see the difference from a legendary that farmed without boosters and one that farmed with them according to wins and kills on the godcard if they bought the gold card. I don't even look at the loading screen mostly... And honestly, have you ever seen a legendary Ao Kuang without med?

from the 3v3 perspective, you have mostly 1 mage, 1 assassin/hunter and 1 guardian/warrior. So it is true from that perspective, a mage can poke down that titan if people titan sit. If you don't have a hyper carry team you should probably give up after the first few kills since snowballing is easy in that mode.
The problem is in 1v1, with, let's say Mercury and Kali you have no chance poking it without getting in danger. Also, you need the abilitys to clear. And if you poke them down and they have to go back to spawn, you can't do any damage since you need to go near objectives, phoenixes are no problem, but the titans are really annoying. Those 1h+ matches are just retarded... you can farm towerkills though.

The new skins are amazing, I'll buy them all :) And Serket feels so OP, but cool to play.

This curse voice thing, thanks for the free gems. The program seems like the normal voice chat thing, I'd rate 6/10 from functionality compared to dolby axon and teamspeak 3. The problems with it, after joining a few conversations: People with bad mics, people screaming, people insulting someone that isn't in the conversation. The good part is, you can make plans better and discuss strategies. Also, a lot of people are really friendly on it, maybe because it gives you more personality, the way you talk, your pronunciation and how you act. People seem a lot more careful on what they say then what they write. On the other side, trolls are more hardcore and bm is scary on it. But anyway, voice chat won't give you too much if there is no synergy in a team. My clan doesn't use voice chat and we still win most premades.

Haha nice :D My card looks worse q.q most of them are joust stats, my domination stats got deleted and I played him as a total noob ending games with scores like 0:5:3 for the first 3 masteries. Fixed my KDR though, 1.4:1 at this moment. And i never miss an ult, it's on instant casting :D And Riot... when I played LoL it all looked so nice, can't believe it got like that...


People complaining about counterpicks, streamsniping, ghosting and whatever weird stuff in joust league should not play this mode. It could sound as stupid as "He baited me into Chronos which lets him pick Chronos which counters my Chronos.", for a reason there are counterbuilds. I randomly tuned in the smite twitch, saw PBat playing joust, complaining about how the opponent of him is a sniper and how he looked to counter his picks, and that's why he always picks different gods and whatever. His opponent didn't know how to counter the god PBat was playing, so he just trolled around a bit. During that time he already was far behind.

Also, Yuketsu vs Rikudosannin was pretty much a reason to Alt + F4 the stream. Just because you get the same guy 2 times in a row doesn't mean he snipes you. And how can you loose with prenerf Bastet?

I saw the first time someone really raging about streamsniping in Smite, dmbrandon about GiTsticker. dmbrandon played vs GiT before and it was always the same picks: Kali vs Mercury. GiTsticker spammed during that time in Joust 1v1 with Mercury, he got about 500 wins in these days. He is maybe one of the most mature and skilled joust players, but got denounced before 2k viewers. It makes me sick to see how streamers trashtalk about their opponents. They are streamers and could be a good image for their viewers which are a lot maybe young and take this as normal behavior.

(I snipe my friends sometimes and they snipe me but pshhhhh)

As I said my stats are inflated. I used to average around 20-25 kills a game with him. Basically release Fenrir was - Do attack buff and go 1 shot someone in lane or enemy jungler with your 3. Repeat process. His 3 also used to proc on hit effects and didn't break with jumps. xD

Riot is still a good company and League is still a good game, but it's definitely going downhill due to them making terrible balance decisions and being super lazy with everything. I've spent way too much time playing LoL to hope for it to die, but I've already got to the point where I rarely play it anymore.

My net lately is too bad to play anything that requires a stable online connection eg: Smite. :(

My provider is crap in my area... I walk into the wall for like 10s sometimes and 99% of the time people kill me .-. And one source of bad stats is maybe joust 1v1, since you rarely get many kills depending on the god you play. On tiermonster it says you average 11 kills a game and 2 deaths. DAE Vulfs Fenrir OP?

When looking on my page I cry, didn't join for to long (06-12-2014) my most played god since then is Mercury with 6 kills and 3 deaths per game. I play him mostly in Joust 1v1, every arena player has like double or triple the kills I get with merc. But Artemis, which I only play in conqest to fill for the ADC role, has average 9 kills per game and 5 deaths, 8 assists. Which is kill wise a lot higher then the normal user stats.

Fenrirs 3 makes me laugh sometimes, not because people say "push 3 to win" or some other crap, more like when I Mercury ult Fenrir follows me to the end of the map. Same for Loki ult, got a Fenrir in the spawn like that.

Those stats on that site seem kinda off to me and I don't think it starts from when you joined the site either. 600+ kills in 3-4 conquest is unrealistic. LOL

I think it might be going off when Smite launched because that seems more accurate in terms of numbers to me.

I think tiermonster counts the kills since you signed in on tiermonster and takes the wins and losses from the smite homepage? On my smite profile it says i have something over 6k kills, on tiermonster I have about 3k in total.

I honestly don't know why people not pick up Kali more in conquest. She is such a good solo laner, you can even put her as adc or mid. Many people pick her for jungle, but in my opinion, lane is better for her since she's a hyper lategame carry, like hunters/solos. Her sustain is extreme, especially with deaths toll. Her lifesteal jump is insane, at max rank lash you can clear full waves. Lategame you are a frontline, you can take damage and deal a lot of damage, people pick up aegis to counter her passive, but you just need to predict it. Her speed and mobility is insane, you need to pick out your targets with instinct but it gets easy with time. She is probably next to Thor one of the Assassins that can take damage and pretty much yolo aa lategame her way to the enemy titan. She is with Mercury one of the most brutal lategame assassins.
