Google docs, Padlet, or literally a Google Drive/Dropbox/Nextcloud with a folder for each user and pictures with the names of the characters and the star rating.Kobold84 wrote:
In other news, the (literaly) character limit is exceeded for the OP, I have to think of other ways to store your collections.
The image links are too long. Maybe an automated code that generates shortened links? You would probably have 10 times more space. Like, you copy the OP into a txt file, and it detects all the links inside [img]. If it is an osu! link (i.e., it has not been shortened yet), it generates a shortened link for it with a random name (for example, 7 random characters, which can contain upper or lower case letters or numbers). With that, you receive the updated OP with the shortened links.Kobold84 wrote:

This wouldn't work well, people would lose interest.Corne2Plum3 wrote:

Do it the old way, edit 2nd post.Kobold84 wrote:

Problem is after the 6th post they're going to write over the first given charactersKarmine wrote:

I think you can try TinyURL or Tiny.cc.Behrauder wrote:

I don't know how easy it is for you to do this, but if you use DeepSeek R1 or ChatGPT o3-mini, it should be pretty easy (both are free). R1 has more messages but is very slow. You don't need many messages to do this.
I believe the hard part would be finding a link shortener that is not blocked by osu! and that has a free API (although it is technically possible to do this with Selenium, I don't think it is ideal, and sometimes the websites ask you to confirm that you are human).
I could do that, but I'm not at home until Tuesday afternoon, sorry.
I agree with this but also the idea of making the url shorter is goodKarmine wrote:

Just checked OP and yeah the urls are so huge, even using the same as normal posts (mal link) would easily cut them by half.Patatitta wrote:

-----------TestAll credit to Behrauder my beloved for the idea.
- The rules are the same. Post and get an anime girl (or a boy if you want, but please specify).
- Yes, you can roll boys too.
- Unfortunately, all your girls have been reset from the last thread due to how I calculate random numbers.
- If you don't know what to post just post !roll all | !roll girl | !roll boy, but any post will do.
- Rarity is from 1 to 6 stars, 5 and 6 stars are probably more rare now.
How does it work?
It's random.
I generate a random number from 1 to 3000, then I check the popularity list on MyAnimeList. After getting the full character list from it, I generate another random number, after which YOU claim one of its anime characters forever.Corne2Plum3Youko (1-star) from Inukami[img:1337][/img:1337]
