Mine are:
- Something like arcaea/polytone + Crossbeats, where notes fly onto the playfield and can have different lengh indicators
- A museca like, but you swipe the buttons and the charts involve swiping chaines of flicks and slides
- Bullethell rg where you attack to the beat, parrying bullets
I know Noisz exists but this one is quite different
Corne2Plum3
A game where you have to click cursor on the screen
ColdTooth
I have one but it's far too advanced.

1: literally ez2on with sdvx’s boss mechanic
2: sdvx but with no fx buttons and turntables instead of knobs, also it has the vivid stasis bumper note mechanic
z0z
yes
Polyspora
ok ok, hear me out

Counter strike + World of Warcraft + Osu!

you create your character and choose your faction, either terrorists or counter terrorists, then you start the game with a semi automatic weapon with slow rounds, the higher the rate of fire the higher the bpm (and difficulty). after creating your char you get introduced to the world by the faction leader, the same gives you an initial quest, this quest is supposed to show you the mechanics of the game, where a song will play and you need to shoot the enemies on the rhythm!!

Basically the next rhythm game banger would be osu!dodge if someone does it proper. Not touhou bullet dodge crap. Evast made a gamemode for that and it was pretty shit because there was no rhythm element to the bullet dodging. Just shapes and beats does it better but it's still pretty meh. Undertale battle mechanics in fan made replications should be an inspiration on how to do more proper rhythm dodging design - constrain play field and take special care adjusting reaction time needed for dodging elements as a way to create impact.

like stuff in this vid can def be synced to rhythm and feel soooooo good to play

I imagine needing to press keys in response to colors. Maybe even have items on the playing field that give you more points if you go for them.
