This looks harder to use than an actual round cursor
I was thinking about that, perhaps I should change cursors every so often, that might be a good ide. for now I'll just keep this one, it's kind of funny playing with it.WitherMite wrote:
wild guess, maybe it just helped you to be more aware of your cursor's position, since you probably have gotten used to the normal dot cursor in other skins and may ignore it a bit too much.
having the cursor be centered at the point like that would trow me off so bad though.
I had heard about an app for osu but idk how comfortable it'd be to play on a tiny phone screen lolz0z wrote:
hey did you know osu!stream exists?
I was just making a joke about my cursor being a finger, so therefore, the joke is that it could be considered "touchscreen"Cerno wrote:

I think osu!stream is an ok Idea, I don't think that there's anything wrong with having different styles, it might even be helpful for people with disabilities.Ymir wrote:
osu!stream is dogshit, iirc the gameplay isn't the same.
I played it before playing osu! on PC.
the idea of playing osu on my phone just feels wrong, and it feels like a pain to play in a relatively small screen compared to my monitorPatatitta wrote:

not quite the same, the charts are clearly designed to be played on a pc with an exception here and therePatatitta wrote:

To be honest this is an issue I thought about osu! on mobile phone and why it might not succeed: the maps are clearly not adapted. It's not comfortable to play a chart where all notes are very small and very close to each other... The charts are clearly not adapted. On PC you always see your entire screen, while on mobile your hands covers a part of the screen while playing. So maybe having separate rulesets would be the best, depending if it's touchscreen or not...z0z wrote:

on the other hand, it would be cool if there was a osu!stream ruleset
But then they would have to allow the dreaded 2b.Corne2Plum3 wrote:

I mean there used to be maps that were TD friendly but the osu community made sure to bury that to the ground since it's not considered to be a legitimate way of playing, I don't really know if they're going to adapt charts the way osu!droid does by having CS work differently but I wouldn't get my hopes up too much, the moment mobile becomes a slightly viable playstyle people are going to be madCorne2Plum3 wrote:

I actually tried playing with a square skin once, it was awful.keremaru wrote:

Lois, this is weirder than the time I was hit by a kei truck and I was reincarnated as a tub of queso con salsa and I had to defeat the demon lord but by doing so I actually made it so that all the demon escaped into the real world so I had to become the new demon lord.keremaru wrote:

there's a reason why I only did one component, and why I used a mixed skin, because I hate skinningJustABeginner wrote:

I also played osu!stream on my phone months before I finally decided to downloaded osu! on the computer, probably because I got a taste of what it's like, and wanted/needed more beatmaps to play. Overall, I enjoyed it, and found osu!stream to be fun, and challanging, with some banger songs, even though it was a bit limited on the maps you could play. But it was still a great introduction for me into the world of osu!, and it did lead me to eventually get hooked on this game. Why didn't you like it tho?Ymir wrote:

Why do people hate on touchscreen players? I don't really get it...Patatitta wrote:

in general, if you want to play phone, just look at what maps are already TD friendly and play those, there are a bunch of lists
Should I get osu!lazer on my phone?Patatitta wrote:

one time the PP record was achieved with TD and they nuked TD to the ground where it isn't viable so that would never ever happen againSupaSazyCassidy wrote:

I'm guessing some people dislike the fact that its a lot easier to aim when your finger can literally touch the screen although the original osu game was a DS game so it was kind of a touch screenSupaSazyCassidy wrote:
