Imo its a lot better of an experience and the devs just overhype it
Its like playing on master mode, technically harder stats and ai but gives more things to make up for it (imo ends up easier than normal calamity cosss higher droprates for stuff and adrenaline/rage bar is goated)

i've beaten all difficulty modes including malice, it's just that this was my first time actually playing hardcore, which is a pretty different experienceDementedduck wrote:

worst part was that he wasnt even good enough so our playthroughs kept getting ruined ;-;
