Hello. It's been 11 months since I'm moderating osu! and more especially the Off-Topic subforum.
Unfortunately, everything has to come to an end and I decide to resign from my moderating jobs, and thus, for several reasons:
• Most of the team are complaining by the fact I act like a 12 years old literally everytime, that I participate in chains in #osu, and that I don't look professional.
• My English isn't good enough to be moderator: I got only 1/15 at the week 2 of YyottaCat's English game, and I have an accent WAY to french. And for real, there's at least 50% mistake with at least one English error in it. And I also have reading issues, according to some people.
• A large part of OT people, osu! staff and the french community think that I'm a furry. And in fact I'm the only GMT with an anthropomorphic animal as a profile picture, and apparently furries aren't allowed in the Global Moderation Team because they're too dangerous to be in such a critical position.
• I'm apparently infected by the pathOwOgen for more than 3 years, it means that I'm in a very advanced phase, and that I cannot longer be saved (I hope they're wrong)
• I don't silence people enough, apparently 0.8 silences per day on average isn't what they call being productive. We're paid by supporter tags, so we have a minimum activity to do fr, in addition of getting cool badges after 1 year.
• I'm cringe asf
• My name is difficult to pronounce and is pure nonsense, which is very inconvenient when talking in vocal.
• I don't play League Of Legends
• peppy doesn't like me with the latest pp rework I lost 10k ranks.
• I'm stupid.
• I've better things to do IRL, such as sleeping and touching grass.
• 9+10 isn't 21.
• I still didn't remapped Galaxy Collapse because I suck at mapping.
• It's raining outside so I'm depressed.
And finally:
I recently moved to the United States because I got hired by Tesla recently, as a software engineer. It's one of the jobs of my dream and I can't believe it's in a very important company as Tesla. I even met Elon Musk while he was carrying a sink and he told me that I was cute... And this job may take most of my time, as I have to work on the Cybertruck 2, an improved version of the Cybertruck, so good that it got banned from Europe. So my activity will decrease, like my playcount since 2023.
I'll be still here the best I can, but I don't think I'll be much more active than abraker...
I'll message peppy and Ephemeral tomorrow to announce them that I give up.
