Does the Wooting UwU keypad worth it?

idk why but since I got my new laptop (I'm using its keyboard) for now about more than 1 month, I struggle to hit streams with consitency. I'm considering purchasing this, also to avoid destroying the 'X' button of my laptop, like what happened with my previous laptop.


Do you think this is worth it?

small detail I'm also very slow at streams I can't hit 190 BPM

edit: I don't want to carry an entire keyboard as I already have my laptop's keyboard

honestly its just better to get a mechanical keyboard that is like really good (for example what im using is hyperx alloy origin red switch) instead of wooting because from what i heard wooting can ruin finger control but if you wanna go for speed why not

i bought hyperx alloy origins too literally wooting uwu is like 50-70$ but hyperx alloy origins is like 80-100$ depending on the size

so it might still be worth it

Rapid trigger is really good. I noticed a significant increase to my speed and finger control within a week of using my wooting. If you are committed to improving in this game, I'd definitely purchase it.

I can only speak for myself, but my finger control increased substantially after wooting. I think that if you experience a loss of finger control from using the wooting you probably have some problems with your technique/fundamentals.

Honestly imo you could have the greatest technology in the world but it won't help poor technique. If you have the money to blow then sure try it out but don't expect any miracles.

The wooting is currently seen as the best gaming keyboard in general, not just something for osu

I've heard that the wooting is similarly game changing for Trackmania, and apparently it's good for FPS games as well because of the responsiveness of rapid trigger and the customizability as well

On the other hand a keypad would probably be only useful for osu i'm guessing




Back on topic, I know about an alternative keypad called the SayoDevice O3C which is apparently a really cheap rapid trigger keypad:

Idk your situation but I'd personally just get a full keyboard if I didn't already have one, over the wooting keypad, like other people said you can literally get a mechanical keyboard cheaper than the wooting keypad if you wanted to, or maybe you could get a nice keyboard and use it for everything instead of having a keypad just for osu

in my case rapid trigger was horrible, it just felt inconsistent and I was under streaming everything. However for most of the people I've talked to they say that rapid trigger helped them out, so it might also help you.

something I learned from trying out rapid trigger: It wont fix a bad tapping technique

in my case no, but as I have said most people do experience becoming better on those things when they get rapid trigger, just unfortunately not me I guess.
