why are most horror games nowadays just like, that

it copies and/or makes something that looks like it belongs to children's stories then add some gore and stuff to it, i'm so sick of it and i don't even play horror games

huggy wuggy, the mommy long legs stuff, and now thomas and friends? why do they make stuff like these? i rather play something like baldy's basics or something.

(acting like baldi's basics is any better lmaooooo)

The answer to that question is that these kid-friendly horror series make tons of fucking bank with little to no effort. Plus, if they manage to get lucky, they need virtually no marketing budget since they'll be promoted by horrific kids animation channels and everyone's favorite YouTubers from 2014.

it's not but i'd rather see people play that rather than the other things

horror on itslef is not dead or anything, it's just modern youtube games have taken the spots as the most popular and gives a wrong impreassion of the genre, there are lots of good indie horror games out there, know that from my brother, as I said, I dont play horror

I have an even horror story that is better than most new horror games.

So, here's the story. I had a dinner with my friend last year. We went to ramen restaurant and ordered for a ramen, obviously. There was some company employee guy who looked really silent across of our table. We just eat, and finished our dinner. However, that guy immediately gone as we finished our dinner... leaving 3 chopsticks on his bowl.

I guess because taking something that used to be in our childhood (aka when we were the most vulnerable), something that we're used to know, then make them scary is what works well to scare people.

the real horror games are full of naked nannies but yeah some games nowdays are like that so yeah

mania multi lobbies have quite some fnf players that love taking over lobbies and forcing everyone to play a 252 star map

Do you have something in osu! that you can turn into something creepy? But really creepy (not that Mope Mope map which isn't scary or this background that got excluded from the Halloween art contest). I don't think there is enough material with osu! to make something scary.
