This effect was really cool, but I only used it for a very short time, since it's confusing. 99% of the time in the last 3 years my wallpaper was just black, on my cell phone too, and that's how it is to this day. you know... I'll be the devil's advocate and say that I also changed my background to solid black on my laptop (that is used for uni work), its easier on the eyes than the stock background(for both windows and linux), and in dark rooms it will prevent your retina from burning.

Only time I've set a black wallpaper was on uni pcs because it was either that or a flash bang (default uni wallpaper which was almost entirely white).
i would probably post it here but i have alot of documents regarding things like some really important stuff regarding my family so maybe not today
i change the wallpaper to black on schools pc, my eyes die on the morning if i dont do that
